Inside perspective

I can confidently say that course curriculum and faculty members are well sought out. the curriculum is well designed to provide a balanced mix of theory and practical knowledge. I choose this course due to its application in various fields, like- Chips, Processors, Communication, 5G, transmission and keeping a window open to computer science fields also. The student to faculty ratio is little higher when compared to others colleges of this Tier, ie of 12-17 students per Faculty. Most of the Faculties have excellent qualification, with Ph.D. degrees from reputed universities all over India. They are well versed in the courses they teach and have drafted research papers as well. In terms of acadamics the college is very strict. there is exams/quiz every month and difficulty is moderate as well.

CDC offers various internship facilties through mail and guides us how to apply for the it as well. While these 4 years there are atleast one project given to students each semester, so as to gain application knowledge while learning.

Campus Placements starts at 3rd year and goes till 4th year, where various companies come to recurit students and offers intership or full time job offers. As in 2021, 5609 students were placed, it keeps increasing every year. The highest package was offer by microsoft of 44 lpa. Also wipro recurited 278 students with average CTC of 6.5 lpa and around 75% to 90% students gets placement.

Fee structure is category-wise where each category has fixed amount of seats while admission, which starts at 2 lacs and goes till 5 lacs, and that category fee is same for full course. The fee hike is not very significant and happens only once 2-3 years. Thus, the cost for 4 year Btech course can go from 8 lakhs to 20 lakhs, just the college fee. There are quite few scholarships as well for students which are excelling acadamically. Namely, Smt. Rajeshwari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship for EwS students VITEEE Scholarship for entrace exam toppers and various merit awards.

Campus Life is well versed as well due to students from all over india and various co-culicular and extracuricular activitiees happening all over the campus. There are mainly 2 extravagant Fest which are TechnoVIT (tech fest) and Vibrance (Cultural fest), which happen in fall and winter semester respectively, also the library is very big having 3 floors ,for books relateed to all courses and journals and 1 lab for video assisatance. classes are well ventilated with big boards, projector and speakers on both sides. it has various facilities for sports like tennis court, basketball court, swimming pool, vollyball court, cricket/football ground with practice net. there are various social groups as well which are mainted by students.

There are various facilites provided in hotel such as geysers, cupboards, bed, AC, room cleanig services, etc. There are various caters as well in hostel which can be changed every month. There is registration fee to get hostel and some amount as caution fee. the affordability is little higher when compared to outside PG and rented rooms.

Firstly there was VITEE entrance exam, for evaluation of each students to others. Councling was done through rank wise. Anyone was eligible for the course if you have rank under 1 lakh and seat is available in that course, for the chennai and vellore campus. Application form is available at the main website of VIT. There are no reservations in terms of cast or gender.
