My College is really very Good. I am happy and satisfied that I chose this college over other available options

I joined the college in 2002. At that time, admissions were based on PCM group i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Maths marks(merit list) and Aggregate Percentage received in 12th standard. I scored 271/300 in PCM group and 82% in 12th Class. This was the best college in my region. It gave us both Spiritual and Technical Education.

Course structure was good.We had many practical sessions. Also, lecturers were good. If one attends the lectures regularly than there is no need of extra tut-ions. Laboratories were equipped with all the required equipment. Can get 4 books at a time from Libraries. Course was designed in such a way that it covered and cleared all the basics of Engineering.

Yes, Internship was also allowed. After clearing the final year, students are take lectures for the juniors and in return they will get around 10000 to 15000 as stipend. Cognizant, IBM, HSBC, British Telecom aka Tech M and Satyam were the first companies the visit the Campus.

I passed out in 2006. Before our eight semester exams, Cognizant, IBM, HSBC, British Telecom aka Tech M and Satyam visited the Campus and recruited around 100 Students. Apart from this, Few companies like Thermax, Uttam Galva, Mahindra came after the final exams for Mechanical Students and recruited another 50+ students. Average package was around 2.1 lakhs to 3.0 Lakhs.

College Events were most entertaining part of the college life in SSGMCE. All the Events were coordinated and taken care by the Students only under the Guidance of Lecturers. Culfest - Annual Cultural event whcih is Internal to College only. It covers funfair,Dance performance, Drama, Fashion show etc.Duration is 5 days. Pursuit -It is Technical event. Here Students from different colleges comes in my college and shares/presents their ideas/projects etc. It is for 3 days.

Fee Structure was not at all expensive. If I remember correctly, I Paid around 20000 annual fee towards educations covering all the Laboratory, Library etc. for free seats. For management quota seats, it goes till 50000 per annum. Exams fees were separate from these. Hostels fee were around 15000 per annum.

If one had to take the loan then college were aiding them to get it from different banks. I don't remember if College was paying Students fees as Scholarship or something.

Like other Colleges, Boys were more than Girls. It was around 3:1 ratio. College life was full of social, cultural, sports and spiritual activities. Everyday classes starts with few Mantra and Gajanan Maharaj's Aarti. College Campus was equipped cricket, volley ball, lawn tennis, badminton court, Heli pad etcs. Indoor games like Chess, Carom and table tennis were also available

Hostels facilities were very good. There were different buildings for first year, second year, third year and final year students. Rooms needs to be shared by 2 to 4 students based on the size of the room. We used to get Hot and cold water regularly. Guards/Wardens were also appointed to take care of the problems.

Yes, there is big Alumni network. Every year we used to have big alumni meet where students comes from different batches and share the experiences and give guidance for the future

Exams Structure was semester pattern. Semester 1 and 2 covers the first year. Semester 3 & 4 in Second Year and so on. Total Eight Semester were there. Exams, included 1. Orals 2. Practicals and Written exams. 20 Marks for Practicals and 80 Marks for the Written Exams and passing was 40 marks. Apart from this, incentives were also there for NCC and Sports Students who performs on behalf of college and for the blood donations.

I purchased admission form from the authorized college i.e. SSGMCE itself, filled the form and gave 10 options according to my preference. Than on the day of the counseling in the university, I selected college based on the availability and options given by me. At that time I selected Computer Science in SSGMCE. After clearing the 1 year, we were given a choice to change the branch and at that time I opted for Electronics and Telecommunication branch.

Now, Lets talk about the Faculty. There were separate buildings or blocks for all the departments/Courses. starting with Electrical Engineering Department followed by Computer Science & Engineering + Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering and at the Last Mechanical Department. Each block was having, 4 Class rooms, at least 2 labs, 1 HOD Room and 1 or Staff/Lecturer Rooms and one Big Library. One separate Computer room / Net Lab was also there to give access to students to internet. Along with this there is a separate department/building for MBA & M.Tech. Hostels and Staff House were in the same campus.
