Great in academics but ok in extra activities.

The mess food is really bad and nobody cares about this thing. Also there is less focus on other activities.

The eligibility criteria was a combined percentage of board exam and JEE MAIN exam. I took JEE MAIN as the entrance exam. The cutoff goes from 70 percent and above for all Indian seats of computer engineering. I chose computer engineering because I loved coding in my school days and i wanted to do less field work.

The college is well known for its academics. The class runs from 8 am to 4:15 pm. Exams are conducted time to time so that students get benefited and be kept in touch of studies. Assignments are given a bit more than expected and at the end and so we get less time to study. Separate student training program is also there to sharpen students and train from the start for the placements.

The college doesn't always provides any summer or winter internships. But it has sign MoUs with different foreii universities like alborg University Denmark etc in which we have to pay for the internship.

Major IT companies like Nvidia, Oracle, Cognizant, Accenture, Persistent, Infosys, eQ Technologies, Amazon hires from our campus. Average salary per year is 3.25 lakhs per annum. Around 85% students get placed from a batch every year.Different placement supportive evaluation exams are conducted like AMCAT(national level exam), QALR(quantitative aptitude & logical reasoning) and so forth, round the year.

The annual technical fest Techtonic is organized every year in the college. The society has its main event karandak which combines all the institutes of Sinhgad. It has both technical and cultural fests. Cultural fests like firodiya karandak and Purushottam karandak are held.

Fees for open students ranges between INR 98000/- to 1 lakhs per year. For OBC it is INR 50000/- and for SC/ST it is INR 1500/- only. Yes, there are different scholarships like EBC etc are there for students having income less than 6lac p.a. For general students it is really expensive

Also, there are a number of scholarships available for category students. Around 50-60% students get the scholarship. Loans are also available but correct details should be given for the loans. I have availed the Cummins scholarship which is for students whose family income is below 6 lacs.

Every department has its student association. Also, there are 8 different automobile teams in the college. Sports teams are also there in the college for football, volleyball, cricket etc. The annual technical fest Techtonic is organized every year in the college. The society has its main event karandak. It has both technical and cultural fests. Sports teams participate in the intercollegiate sports of the University.

There are 2 girls hostels and 2 boys hostel (one off campus). The rooms are good and clean. Hot water is also available. The hostel fees for this year was INR 65500/- (including all) for a year. The food in the canteens are good but the mess food is not that good. The labs, classrooms, and libraries are well equipped. There are WiFi facilities in each department in the college.

Alumni network is good. Seniors always helps whenever we need them. The information given by them is really helpful with regards to placement or seminars.

For the first year and second year we have two online exams of 25 25 marks each and the end semester exam for 50 marks. No external orals and practicals are there for first year. From second year we have external practicals. From third year we have insem exam of 30 marks which is of theory and end semester exam for 70 marks. The labs are conducted seriously so that students can gain the knowledge.

The notice regarding the CAP rounds are released in newspapers. I had to get the application form from the ARC centre, then create an account on the site of dtemaharashtra. Then I had to fill the basic details n academic details. The datewise schedule is displayed on the date site. After choice filling procedure , the result of CAP rounds are declared and the seat is alloted to us. For confirmation of our seat, we need to go and confirm it in the ARC centre. Document verification procedure is completed in the respective college by the given time. The administration was good in the college. They give you detailed description of what and how to do.

The teaching is good as teachers are having more than 7+ years of experience. The overall experience is good at the college. Almost every teacher has a master's degree or more in the computer domain. Some teachers are good some are not upto the mark but this is found everywhere. Projectors are used to teach and labs are quite big. Attendance is only issue for first year students.
