I took the entrance exam conducted by IP University in which i scored 3000 rank and chose this college because it has good ambience, conducive learning environment and good placements... also the faculty is great and professionally acclaimed...

The course curriculum is as per set by the Indraprastha UNiversity and caters looking at a holistic delivery of knowledge to students in the 1st year.. as in a first year students has to study few subjects from all the courses under btech i.e., mechanical, ece, cs, civil etc.. so that he/she has basic knowledge about these. from 2nd year the course becomes stream specific..

Yes they do provide internships.. The placement companies include HCL, Accenture, Microsoft, Biztech, Cognizant etc..

The placements are great and almost 80% are placed in on campus selections.. And previous year 2-3 people were recruited by microsoft.. As with regard to pay scale , the maximum was offered by microsoft i..e., 10.5 lakhs p.a.. Others include a range from 3 lakhs pa to 7-8 lakhs pa... the placement cell in the college is also very helpful and helps in understanding and going through the placement process...

Meritorious Students are awarded Scholarships by the Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Education Society. This Scholarship is in the form of fee waivers, financial assistance etc.

The institute began its first batch of 180 B.Tech. students in 1999 and at present, MAIT offers Bachelor's Degree in 5 disciplines of Engineering - Computer Science and Engineering (240 students intake), Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical and Automation Engineering (180 students intake each), and Postgraduate degree in Master of Business Administration (180 students intake). The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. MAIT’s campus comprises of 10 blocks including Admin Block with Wi-Fi connectivity, well equipped modern laboratories, an intellectually stocked Learning Resource Centre with books and E-Resources, Boys Hostel, Gym and Auditorium.

MAIT has a hostel for boys of MAIT only. Hostel has a capacity of 186 students. Each student is accommodated either in Single, Double and Four-seater rooms. It has mess facility which is operated under the guidance of the Warden of the hostel. Also it has a large Common Room with Television and Cable Connection where the students can keep themselves abreast with the events happening around the world. Proper attention is given for the hygiene and cleanliness of the hostel, and all the residents are expected to keep their rooms neat and tidy. There are separate rooms for guests, yoga and gymnasium. Internet connection is provided in each room. A back-up generator is also provided for round the clock power supply. There is a boundary wall surrounding the hostel and round the clock security is provided. Arrangements are also made for Girls Hostel at Maharaja Agrasen Sadan, Pooth Kala, Sec-20, Rohini, Delhi

Yes the senior students are very helpful... in terms of studies, they are very guiding towards how to approach assignments, attendance and exams and also provide notes of the respective stream if required... also if for any extra co-curricular activities, classes are missed they are very helpful about how to manage time and studies along with co curricular activities...

Exam structure is like any other university or college.. It has a set of ODD Semester exams and Even Semester exams, which are considered as external exams. Besides, in each of the semesters there are a set of internal exams. Not only theory but practical exams and viva are also conducted in two sets per semester i.e., internal and exteranl practicals respectively...Fro theory exams, the mark division is out of total 100 per subject 70 caps the external exams and 30 are the internal exams + the attendance + the assignments submitted.. For practical, it is 40 internal marks and 60 external marks which include file submission, viva and experiment performance..

After the IPCET (the Indraprastha Common Entrance Exam), i got my rank around 3000 and then after a couple of days there was common counselling in which as per preference given by candidate, collges were given.. In the 1st round i got MSIT but in the 2nd round itself I got this college.. thereafter i had to go to the college and clear he payments and submit the copies of the necessary documents like the IPCET admit card, medical certificates, class 10 and 12th marksheet, passing certificates and so on...

The faculty of the college is well qualified.. Almost all the teachers/sirs are PHD holders and many of them are at professor level... They are professionally acclaimed and some of them also have well know paper/thesis and book publications... The are courteous, patient and well trained to deliver the knowledge to the students aptly.. They are also student friendly and help them with many problems faced by them in the intials years..
