- Only two or three classes takes place on daily basis and focus is mostly on rote learning.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Bcom(Hons.) course because I was from the commerce stream and also because it is one of the sought-after courses of Delhi University which has a decent to good reputation in the job market. Student and faculty ratio is 60:1 ie one teacher on 60 students. The faculty of our college is highly qualified with most of them being Ph.D. holders. Terms exams take place on time and difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
Roles generally include- HR, Sales and Marketing, Management, Finance, and Content writing. companies include- neophyte consulting, share khan, begin, aap, coding ninjas, etc. stipend ranges from 0-10000 per month.
Placement Experience
Semester 5 students are eligible for placements. Some of the companies which visit our campus includes- Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC, Bainetc Highest package-23lakhs and the Average package-5lakhs. approx 50-60percentage students get placed. Not clear about my plan right now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of our college are very minimal being a government college, which is 12000 per year and 36000 for the whole 3 years. Delhi University does provide scholarships and financial assistance to students belonging to the BPL category.
Campus Life
One of the drawbacks at my college is that there are no major annual fest or tech-fest happening entire year The library is huge and all books and journals are available. The classrooms are big and proper ventilation is also there so problem there but yes infrastructure is old being a government college. Our college consists of a huge ground, a separate basketball court, and a badminton court, therefore a proper sports facility is there. There are huge no. of societies including commerce society, consulting society, etc.
Admission
For getting into this college you have to first give an entrance exam called CUET-UG and on the basis of cutoff, you get admission to different colleges at Delhi University. I got 744.5/800 in CUET and got admission into Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University Of Delhi). The application process was also very simple wherein we were required to fill up a form which was released by NTA and then had to also fill up the form issued by the university of Delhi.
Other Applied Colleges
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU] | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]
Because I got admission in Delhi University which is more valuable
