Remarks

College management was not very good when I was studying but now its really good, like in cleanliness etc it has been improved

Entrance Preview

Studied my pu as well so i took AIEEE and CET there , i got 3000k ranking in AIEEE and 767 ranking in CET ...A college that made me pursue my bsc micro biology and I did it in MCC and it was the best time in both gaining knowledge and earning the best friends for a life time

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Curriculum teaching is organised and you get the best result for sure as the teachers are very particular on the academics . The labs and others are to be very seriously taken , including the attendance... Lot of exposure to the outer world as there are learned people who come to college to give seminars on our subject henceforth, contacts also grows with the zeal for researching and presenting for the public.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college does not provide any such things. Max that they can do is , give us an opportunity to teach our juniors and get the experience. Other than this they encourage us in researching more and preparing technical papers

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements ! not many would be placed, since our college get get you contacts its completely students duty to contact and get the interviews... college alone will not promise you any such things then . not sure of present situations. I was not placed but was referred to get into some companies to get some experience.

College Events

5

There is a cultural fest CUL-AL which is very well- known to every college student in Bangalore. Also, then there was Pulse fest for PUC students. Technical fests were not many organised by our college but we used to participate by going to the college that organises it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure not sure because i do not remember much, but I can tel you the complete amount of fee I paid was 35000 for the complete year. this included all other than the exam fee. It was different for different caste people as they had concessions.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have no idea about loans , I did not get any scholarship as well. But most of my friends had got concessions in the fee as they were from backward classes is the only information I have.

Campus Life

5

Campus life can be called the golden eraof a student of MCC.... Also, extracurricular activities seems like its born here as we have one or the other thing everyday , both intra and inter college competitions. Sports is given the main importance, we have a huge ground and morning before college hours and evening after college hours there are practice, also college has taken part in nationals and state in all sports and cultural and technical. Since its a complete women college gender ration is 100% girls..

Hostel Facilities

4

I was a locality , but i have good idea about hostel, as some of the hostilities have shared many things. The hostel is in the campus so it is very safe. next food is better compared to any other college hostels. Other than college mess, there is also many canteens so it is not a problem. Cleanliness is the prime for any one one in the hostel, frequent checking in the rooms were carried out . max 3 sharing was there. 3 sharing monthly then it was 2500

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful but again it depends on how socializing a girl is. It can be told like seniors come to you and help you. If you approach them definitely they will.

Exam Structure

exams as usual semester exams, but there was a compulsory test in every semester... Labs were very frequent but its definitely fun to go as the explaining was very good,

Admission

After my PU results, I had to apply by college application form and based on our marks lists were put up, for I had the percentage needed to join the college i easily got in 1st list and got the admission by paying the fee told in the college bank. The first list was announce in june 2009, i did my admissions a day after that. The administration was a little strict but if all the rules and signs on the notice board were followed then its a good process. every was on time and very easily guided. but a long process.

Faculty

4.5

There is no doubt the college is A++ , its also because of the quality of teaching it gives. No compromise on the teaching faculty. All are the professors and master holders with great experience in well versed colleges... A one to one teaching is felt even in a class of 60 students.. A faculty could be approached any time even over the phone , that was the facility we had.. All the faculties were very friendly and helpful.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
