Apart from small minute ignore able factors the college is just perfect the way it is.

NATA My interest in Architecture and design persuaded me to choose this course. Designing has always and I mean always been a passion for me!

Very very hectic! You have to be in the flow to show your mark. Architecture is one of the course engaging the students in maximum working / studying hours. Also in buffer time you tend to enjoy more the more you work.

No we are on our own to hunt for jobs and internships. Yes our college does call over some really famous personalities with whom students interact develop knowledge and may lead to having an internship.

Many famous architects are themselves willing to come forward to meet the next generation of architects and designers.

Our college celebrates a festival called Avartan. It is more of an in house festival celebrated every damn year. It is lead by a student council managing 300 students for the festival. The main principle is to get everyone together for a goal. Being a part of the council is one of the best things that has happened to me.

Expensive compared to the engineering college. Cheaper compared to the design colleges. It is probably just perfect the way it is. The fee was ₹65,000/- per year during my initial years of study. However the course is an expensive course due to the submissions and deliverable.

College gives scholarship and travel expenses of college trips ,covering for only one and only one student every year. The faculty and the principal decide whom to give.

You can say roughly 2/3 rd of the crowd is female. The college students have a general body managing the student union. The head of the body is the general secretary, with the cultural secretary who handles the cultural activity. They are followed by the exhibition secretary and magazine head. And finally the treasurer and the sponsorship head.

7.5/10 The food hygiene has improved tremendously at IES. I won't say it's the best but fairly good enough. Yes they add oil in everything and I mean to say everything. But at least the food is hygiene food. Best is Chicken Kathi roll, do give it a try if you are a non vegetarian.

Yes very helpful. They help their fellow juniors in terms of finding jobs or for further studies. Many alumni have good connection with the college.

We have lesser focus on exams but more focus on submissions and juries. Our written exams are purely based subjects such as structure, history, plumbing, electrical, ventilation of air and lighting and finally bylaws . Juries are more over for the design and also some parts of structural systems.

MASA Got admission through a hard and tiresome process of MASA . It's the next stage of NATA. Also included marks of HSC( where I screwed up a little as I didn't have interest in science) . Finally IES COA was the college of my interest, specially with the location!

Good . They are even more helpful if you show them the efforts you put in them. Yes, I don't mind saying this but I have been lucky to have such good mentors and gurus in this college. Well not every person here is a saint I would say, you might have hurdles with some for sure. But it's better if you think them to be as learning lesson for people who you can deal with in future.
