Remarks

College was overall good with all study and extra activities. It's worth to study in this college with the preferred course if one wishes to do

Entrance Preview

I got an admission based on 2nd Cut off marks list released for getting admission to this college. I scored some 72% in my 12th Standard best of 4 exam papers in PCMB. I opted this college as it is in one of best locality in Delhi as North campus plus offering Bsc science course as per I was looking for to get admitted. Also, the college ambiance, building and other facilities were also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course was B.sc Group-B. It was a good science course with many subjects including Chemistry fields metals, Non-Metals periodic table etc, Biology, Insectology, Histology, Physics. English. Overall the 3-year course was good covering all the concepts of Chemistry, Biology English etc. It covered detailed concepts every year with in-depth knowledge and understanding

Internships Opportunities

No, the college didn't provide any internship or stipend. The college I was studying is a Delhi University was providing graduation and masters program.

Placement Experience

2

The placement and job opportunities need to be looked after by the students itself after their course. College doesn't provide placement and job for the students. As the courses offered were not professional but more graduation or post graduation based like BA, BCOM, B.Sc so companies are not visiting the college campus. For some master level program, some job assistance may be provided to the students.

College Events

4

Jam Session was celebrated once every 2-3 months time interval. It was a DJ party followed by snacks. A Freshers Party was organised after every college session begins by the seniors which are quite enjoying. 4-5 days Fest season is celebrated in months of Dec-Jan where a lot of events with Fun Music and Play events take place. Also, some renowned Band comes from outside and do their performance in between.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very feasible for parents and student. It was very less compared to private schooling fee for a year. For me, it was about Rs 5000-6000 per semester. It was a very nominal fee as the college comes under government. It covered only the education fees as well as sports fee with development changes. College offered a library facility and an Internet browsing cafe for students in the library which was available

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, some scholarship options were there offered by the principal for the bright and underprivileged students. More information on this can be gathered from the office premises of the college.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life was really very good. Gender diversity varies from course to course. like in science females were more seen then males. In BCOM males were more seen then females. In BA courses males and females were almost equally seen. Extracurricular activities involved foreign language courses in college. Also, there were a lot of sports played in college like Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Table tennis. Also, there were carrom tables and Chess playing options. A big auditorium is there where events happen like debates, fests etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is there behind the college. The hostel building is there where students can find accommodation to live. Separate rooms are there with attached bathrooms, and a big hall for students to watch television. Quality of rooms was average as per the charges. It was mainly meant for the students coming from other states to study here.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni were helpful in getting study materials arranged and getting sample papers and notes for study.

Exam Structure

Exams were a mixture of covering all concepts of a subject with some objective questions as well as some subjective questions. It was good to gain knowledge and do our self-evaluation through the exams. Chemistry and Bio labs were good for chilling out. It's better to perform practicals then to learn theory. Labs were good containing adequate equipment, chemicals and apparatus. For Bio labs dissections of small animals and fishes were done as a part of studying internal details

Admission

I bought a common admission form from the college campus. Filled it and submitted in the college and got the stamped receipt to save it for me. For the admission purpose, I checked the marks cut off released in the newspaper in the June month. For me, my marks range were listed in the 2nd cutoff. I reached the college then along with my 12th mark sheet, passing certificate and all other identity documents. Then confirmed my admission from college. Filled up the college admission form. Then deposited the fees.

Faculty

4

The faculty was very well Qualified as all of them were Doctorate as well as experienced in their field of the subject. Also, they were helpful and friendly with the students and help in problem-solving and understanding. The Staff was a mixture of some young professors as well as some experienced ones. All were mostly calm and cooperative with the students. They were all professionally qualified for Masters or PhD and were expert levels in their fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
