Have an idea regarding college

I have chosen this course because Iam very much interested in Civil Engineering. The faculty in our college is in the ratio of 1:4 and the faculty are very friendly and encourage the students to participate in many aspects like seminars, orientation programmes, internships and extracurricular activities like sports, speeches, etc. The qualification of our faculty is M.tech and the way of teaching is very convenient to all the students in class and the clarification of doubts is very good and interaction is good between the students and faculty. Exams are conducted as per the schedule and the exam results are based on the performance of the students.

Our college provided the government internship i.e. AICTE and also on HEREMAP CREATOR, the internship offered in aicte are technical internships related to our branch with a stipend of 15000 for 45 days and the internship is offline mode. We have one minor project in 4-1 and a major project in phase 1 in 4-1 i.e. 7th semester and a major project in phase 2 in 4-2 i.e. 8th semester. And the guide for the project is provided by the project in charge as per the project title.

Placements are varied from branch to branch and the students are eligible for the placements from 3-1 i.e. 5th semester. The companies that visited our college for placements are Amara Raja, Genpact, Focus edumatics, Cvent, Jaro, Kodnest, Byjus, and McKinley rice. I have received 2 offers through campus placements. The company with the highest package is 6 lpa and the average package provided is 4-5 lpa. The percentage of students who get placed is 40 %. My plans after graduation are to work in a reputable leading company and enhance my skills and build experience in my field of study.

The fee of the college is 86000 per academic year and the JNTU fee is 5500 per year the whole college fee is applicable for management students and the convenor students should pay 5500 JNTU fee and they get reimbursement of 35000 from the government to the college out of 86000 for the OBC category and the remaining amount is 51000 should be paid by students. And the SC and ST students who are convenors get full reimbursement of 86000. The convenor students will get an e-pass scholarship of 5000 per academic year from the government. I have been placed in Genpact company recently with a package of 2.4 LPA through campus placement.

Our college celebrated the annual fest along with silver Jubilee and Technocrat on March 17th and 18th 2023. Our college provides all the books regarding semesters and also aptitude and history books for preparation for competitive exams like SSC and central exams. Our classrooms are clean very good looking and comfortable with sufficient benches and sufficient ventilation and good working fans and digital projectors are provided to show some practical videos related to the subject. Our college conducts the sports like cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, kho-kho, chess, badminton etc and extracurricular activities like paper presentations, Drawing, speeches, etc. Our college students run social groups on Instagram, the arts and science club and IEEE where they invite industrial experts to spread their knowledge to the students regarding industry and factories.

I wrote the entrance exam called Ecet after my Diploma in Civil Engineering. I have qualified in the Ecet entrance exam and the cutoff rank is 3000 in vaagdevi college of Engineering then I went through web options and I got the allotment order then the verification process is taken by the college. As my category was OBC so, I had the benefit of reimbursement of 35000 from the government out of 86000. The only improvement is that a quick admission process is to be done.
