Entrance Preview
AIEEE but i got admission there only by giving donation which was awful, I have choosen this university because there was no other option for me. I have done mechanical engg because it has many job opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was average,no as such knowledge or practical work teached to us which was cruicial for any course as per my opinion. Attendence and exams were the priority of university.
Internships Opportunities
Not at all, no internship was provided thats why 90% of my batch mates are still unemployed, companies like cognizant which is an IT comany hired some mechanical student which still does not got any confirmation letter, myself got selected in cheema boilers but after passing out when i went to company they said first get letter from your university and when i asked my HOD they said the company haven't selected anyone. 3 out of 10 for placements.
Placement Experience
IT placement was good but for other departments there were only few placement opportunities offered by college, for IT companies like HCL,google,samsung has arrived but the placement seats were few and students arrived for placement in the number of thousands.
College Events
Tashan nites every year in september where many singers and celebrities comeTech fest in is celebrated in February where students participate and technical competition was held Fresher parties in august to welcome new students. These three events celebrated by university year in the college and belive me these were amazing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee stucture is expensive i have done mechanical batch from 2012-2015 three years after diploma at my time the fee structure was 50000 for one semester and 48000 for another and now it's 65000 for one and 60000 for another and other fees like examination fees which is 800 before every exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about loan facilities but yes they give 50% off on fees for SC and poor people and also for students from jammu and kashmir.
Campus Life
Campus life is excellent gender ratio is 45% female and 55% male last year. Labs are excellent but they do not utilise them.university is good in term ofSport and extra activities.they have football stadium,snooker, basketball stadium,tennis court. In November every year many sports activities held like long jump, hurdle race,country run etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel faciltes was awesome, i was a day scholar but i had many friends which were hostler and the food was amazing in the mess, the hostel fees was 55000 annually including mess food,in each room of hostel there are three beds and there are four boys hos
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors were very nice, They shared alot of things with us what to do and what to not and most important ragging is 0%.
Exam Structure
Yes exam structure was very good and strict,within a semester there were three sessionals, which come after every four weeks and after that final exams arrives. Internal was processed on the basis of these three sessionals. The internal is of 40 marks and
