Jamia Ek yaaden anek( Thousands of Memories in One Jamia)

After 12th, I gave NEET exam. Unfortunately, I couldn't get enough scores. After MBBS, Biotechnology was my favourite. So, I decided to go for it. Since I live in this area of Jamia and had heard a lot about this university and has a good reputation and consistently good ranking in the national ranking system. So, Jamia was the best choice for me. The faculties are nice. You don't have to worry about the faculty and students ratio because it is sufficient. Around 1 faculty for 25 students for each subject. PhD scholars are more supportive and guide in study and goals. No doubt Teachers are highly qualified. Trained mostly in the USA, Germany etc. Term exams are almost timely except for a lag in Covid time. Sessional and practical are held almost on time. If you study regularly, then it's very easy to pass. Passing the exam is not a tough thing because if you are here you are a good student and so no issue to pass.

Fee: 8000 Rs for the first year 6800 Rs for 2nd year 6800Rs for 3rd year. Fees are paid annually at the beginning of each year. No fee hike. Notifications are published if any hike. But fees have not been hiked for several years. There are few scholarships for bright students and needy candidates like JTA, NSP and for rank holders each semester. There is no campus stipend like things here. You can work part-time in a coaching institute or give home tuition.

The annual fest is organised from Feb to April generally. Different clubs are here like Biotechnology club, dance club, coding club, sports club, cultural club etc. Cultural fest, Quiz competition, singing, dancing, film screenings, lecture by prominent speakers and scientists and celebrations of several days like ethics day etc. The department has its own library in addition to the central library and reading hall of Jamia. Books are issuable from the library free of cost. For a journal, you have to visit the central library. The classrooms are nice. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and clean. Each class rooms has a project. Labs are quite interesting. Sports clubs organize games in March and April months. Various games like football, cricket, tennis, basketball, indoor games like badminton etc are held every year. E cell Jamia and quizanto are run by Jamia. Biotech club organize extracurricular activities like presentation, debate etc.

In 2021 admission to this course was through Jamia entrance test which was conducted by University in offline paper and pen mode. But now in 2023, admission is taken by CUET- UG. you should have passed 12th passed in Physics Chemistry and biology as main subject. The college fees is 8000Rs for first year and 6800 for the next two year which totals to 21,600 for complete course. Hostel facility is available for limited students. Four or five from the batch of 30 get hostel. Hostel is provided based on distance of house from Delhi.
