Course Curriculum Overview
As computer science and enginnering is the most popular branch and also having much more scope in future may many student opt for this course. The faculty student ratio is 1:60 in every department. Most of the faculty member are assitant professor and there way of teaching is quite good . In one semester there are 4 CA(continuous assessment) exams and 2 PCA(practical continuous assisment) and in the end of semester there is semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are mainly provided by startups and TCS Wipro and many more companies. It's easy to get an internship in our college as the college faculty are very good. Students get a lot of knowledge by doing this internship.
Placement Experience
The placement of Asansol engineering college is quite good. Every year almost 80% of students get placed in good companies like Byjus, IBM, TCS, Infosys, etc. The average package of AEC is around 4 lakhs and the highest package offered is 19 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee of a college curriculum is 4,40,000. This College also provides scholarships like the swami vivekananda scholarship and the K2 Shree scholarship. This college also provides paid internships with a stipend of 50k-60k per month.
Campus Life
Every year colleges celebrate AEC festa, tech fest. The college provides a good library facility where students can get the books of their interest and there are 65000 books in the library. Sports like cricket, badminton, kabaddi, volleyball, etc are held on the college campus. There are coding clubs and hardware clubs and many more clubs.
Admission
To get addmission in Asansol engineering college candidates need to appear in an entry level test, WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) or JEE Mains entrance exams. To apply only online candidates may check the official website. For Btech in CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) rank cut off mainy ranges from 18k-25k and for IT (Information Technology) rank cut off mainly ranges from 25k-30k.
