I have chosen Computer Science Engineering Department at this College because of my interest in computer science and career opportunities. The faculty members at AEC are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. The faculty: student ratio at the college is around 1:25, which ensures that students receive individual attention and support from their teachers. Monthly and weekly tests are taken apart from the CA exam.

Internship are an essential part of a student's education as they provide practical exposure to the industry and help students in gaining real -world experience. AEC encourages its students to take up internships and gain practical experience in their respective fields. The collage has tie-ups with various companies and organizations that offer internships to students.

AEC has a dedicated placement cell that helps students in their placement. Generally, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th and 8th semesters of their campus. Several reputed companies from various sectors visit the campus for recruitment. Some of the popular companies that visit the campus include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and Capgemini. The highest and average package offered to students depends on the company, the job profile, and the skill of the students. AEC is around 12LPA and the average package is around 3-4LTA.

AEc may offer campus jobs to eligible students to help them exam a stipend while pursuing their studies.

The annual fest AEC is called 'Sanakriti' which is usually conducted in the month of February and March. The college library is well-stocked with books and journals on various subjects. The classroom at AEC is equipped with modern amenities, including audio-visual aids, a projector, and wi-fi connectivity. Many sports events like Cricket, Basket Ball football are held in college. Many clubs like Hardware Club, Science Club, and Coding Club are also there.

To be eligible for admission to Asansol Engineering Collage through the WBJEE exam, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination. You can also take admission by direct admission but it will cost more/high.The WBJEE cut-off varies every and depends on various factors like the diffuity level of the exam. AEC also releases its own cut-off based on the availability of seats.the candidates have to be under 30000 rank in WBJEE for getting admission through WBJEE counseling.
