Course Curriculum Overview

Bcom Accounts Honours helped me in carving the way for my CA journey that's why it was the best option for me to choose. A large number of students are actually seen here which makes a very educational environment. The teaching quality was up to the mark. Exams are held on a semester basis and a student with medium hard work can actually pass the exam.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 5500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is genuine for each and every course Not much as compared, to all other colleges charging enormous amounts of money. Generally, there's no hike in the fees policy. I have received a scholarship named Swami Vivekananda Scholarship which helped a lot.

Campus Life

Freshers' party was conducted here in the month of Feb that also for 2 days which was absolutely phenomenal. There are always many single books which you are looking for in the library. Extracurricular activities often took place here like cricket, football, etc

Admission

Eligibility criteria are more than 50% in 10th And 12th. Application forms and fees can be accessed from the site of the college easily. Merit list rankers will be qualified for admission. It requires no entrance test.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

Computer faculty is the best ??

Other than dwc, I have applied in various colleges.. like asansol girls college, burdwan women's college, many colleges of Kolkata, durgapur michal Madhusudan college, Durgapur goverment college etc.. I have also given the ug cuet exam.. My college days

I only gave admission test in this college, as it was the closest to my home. No i didn't get rejected as I never applied although i did gave the cuet exam and i couldn't qualify. Our college's admission process is quite simple. We had to fill the online form in the college website and then check the merit list and appear in college on the day they mention for document verification . You need 50% above marks in higher secondary, there were no exam held for admission, though the 12th marks matters as the cut off is 65 above is mandatory.
