Review of Amity University Gurugram

I choose this course to start my journey in Information technology Faculty members have appropriate skills for their positions and know the best method to teach various types of students shown are very helpful and inspiring. The student ratio is around 35 - 40 Almost every faculty have Phd in their field and have excellent teaching skills Term Exam was held in the last month of the semester and the Exam is moderate in terms of difficulty faculty are also very strict towards cheating

Form 5th sem students have become eligible for campus placements. There are several companies that come to campus to hire like - D.E Shaw, Wiprp, SAP, and Accenture. The highest package is given by DE Shaw offered a 21 lacs package and 3 lacs is an average package. In my batch, 50 % of students got placed in companies. I didn't take any offer because I want to pursue higher education.

In BCA, I have to pay 1.42 lac per annum (71000 per semester) with 4000 fee increase There is a Scholarship that was given to you when successfully secure a 9.5 CGPA or above in your 1st year then there will a reduction will be processed by the department according to the scholarship terms. Financial Assistance is okay, During the COVID period students who want to get relief from fees (like lab charges, Library and many more) they able to assist us with that situation. , I won't pursue higher education so don't take the job on campus but the placement at bca is average

There is Main Fest which is known as Amifest which only happens once in the year mostly in Feb and March Its average fest fails to excite. There is no tech fest or should I say Hackathon, Coding culture is totally missing in amity. Amity had a top-class library having no. of books and journals and also the architecture is best in class. Well, maintained washrooms, Ventilated ac room, neat and clean campus with green environment. Amity has a cricket team that plays against other university teams and there are also so many extracurricular activities such as "Sangathan". There are so many social groups and clubs in amity. I was a member of the Qaafila group.

Eligibility - 12th with Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practice. The candidate having 45% or above is eligible to take admission.
