It's have well reputation all over India. It have very good infrastructure. It's have more spacious campus. So many infrastructural development are going on. A beautiful library is there. Academic is also good. But no air conditioner is there in the class room. College management is very strict with respect to academic. It's one of the best institutions which produces better quality personalities.

I took IITJEE(MAINS) for this college. I scored 133 out of 360 in this entrance examination. As Nit Rourke la is among the top institutions of India, due to reputation and facilities I opt for this particular college.

Yet I am in 1st year so I haven't entered to the core course. But up to my knowledge the recent changes in course curriculum is quite helpful in research work. Due new modifications in curriculum many students get internship in foreign universities. Lab infrastructure are good which promote more research work. In 1st year we have no elective. But in second year there is some elective in courses.

College give internships to the outside students. (those who not belong to Nit Rourkela).this internship is generally for one and half month. An amount of 3500/- will be given to the fellow.

Here almost every student placed in the company. A placement percentage is nearly 110%in Nit Rourkela. Many companies like IBM, AMAZON, SAMSUNG, COAL INDIA, AND MANY More reputed companies came and salary varies from 6-25 lakh per annum. So overall opportunity are there but it's all depends on you. Many are getting jobs in research fields also.

Nit Rourkela is famous for its campus life and club activities. Around 50 clubs from different fields are there. Many activities in campus will go on. But remarkable one is INNOVISION IT'S second largest tech fest in Eastern India with prize money wroth of 1.5 lakh.

It's depend on your family income. If u have income less then 1lakh per annum then u will be charged 50000 per semester and if u have annual income more than 5lakh ready to pay 1.10lakh per semester. It's fee structure is feasible compared to other private institutions.

Loan facility available in the admission time. Study loan with very low interest rate is provided by the no of banks. One SBI bank is there in the institution campus. Many scholarships are provided on the income and merit basis.

Nit Rourkela have one of the most beautiful campus in India. Campus spread across 1200 acres with full of greenery girls no is lower then that of boys. No discrimination going in any basis. 3 Stadium and 1 sports complex is there, one swimming pool is there, and many sports competitions going on through out the year. Club activities are vibrant. 50 clubs are there...

Hostel are quite well maintained. With beautiful gardens and proper infrastructure. Mess food is good with more no of times non veg in a week. Mess is also hygienic. Clean and well maintained. I will rate it good marks. Hostel room is shareable. 2 students allotted in a room. Single room also available for senior students. All boarder allotted hostel.

Senior students are much cooperative. They guided us well. Alumni network is not much strong. But we have also quite reputed personality from our institution. The are one of the role models among the students.

No exam and labs are not so frequent. It is well balanced with your campus life. It was chilled out. The exam structure well planned with cgpa system. We have one mid semester and one one end semester in one semester. Mid semester contributing 30%and end semester 50%of total mark and rest 20% will be teachers assessment. In this way your grade point will be decided.

First of all you need to crack the Jee main examination. Then after that you need to register yourself for the counseling process in Jossa. Nic. In. After u selected in Jossa counseling process.u need to follow the instructions given by Jossa authority. You will be called to verify your documents (study and parental income related).

Faculties are very good . Most of the faculties are quite friendly. They are well qualified with post doctorate degree. Most of them are lucidly teaches us. If you have doubts then u can go to them any time in the working hour. Many faculty have inspiring personalities.This particularly helpful for me.
