Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it is a really nice college, with very good faculties. Most of the faculties are highly qualified from top institutions like iit. Term exams are held after each semester and the level of questions asked is from Intermediate to difficult level.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Dell and Accenture give paid internships and they provide pre-placement offers too. Striped ranges around 30k-40k. Infosys, wipro, tcs also offer internships and many more companies also give them.
Placement Experience
After 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements. The campus placement dri es starts in the month of August. A lot of companies start to visit. Many renowned companies come and give nice job packages. The highest package bagged is 42lpa and the average package lies around 8.5lpa. Most of the students get placed in this college... After getting your degree you can plan for higher studies or grab job opportunities from the campus placement drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is around 2.5 lakhs per year. There are some scholarships too based on your category and gender. Also, people having low income can claim for tuition waiver scheme and get benefits from it.
Campus Life
There is wifi in the college, projectors are present inside the classrooms. Labs are well equipped with highly proficient lab assistants. A lot of cultural and social events take place in this college. The annual techno-cultural fest advaita occurs in the month of Feb or March. It consists of a lot of technical and social events. Iiiit sports league is conducted in which you can showcase your sportsmanship spirit. There are a lot of societies on campus like technology, robotics, culture, programming, etc which conduct a lot of seminars and webinars. The library consists of an ample amount of books and the college provides the books for each semester.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well maintained. You get all types of amenities. Staying in the hostel is compulsory for the first year. Later you can change. Based on your performance at exams you can apply for single rooms too. The meals are pretty decent compared to their prices. The meals are affordable and not expensive. The menu can be changed by students from time to time.
Admission
Firstly you have to give Jee and score a decent rank. If you are applying on all india quota then your rank should be below 30k. If you are applying from the state quota then your rank should be below 1 lakh... You get reservations based on your category and gender. Application dates are released when jossa registration begins... After all india's allotment state allotment starts.
