Campus is too big and green natural beauty all around you.
Free time no burden for exams and all exams xan be passed in one night study
Faculty is cooperative some teachers are really good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to pursue computer science that I why I opted for this course. The faculty-student ratio is extremely good 20:1 The faculty here is all P.H.D completed professors and they are good through real-life usage which will help us in the industry 3 times in 6 months we have exams for 2 minors and 1 major each semester.

Placement Experience

When you come in the final year you are eligible for the placements. Mnc like Infosys, CRM, Hexaware, scaler, etc come to hire. The average is a 4.1 LPA and the highest 18.5 lpa of rahul kumar in the 2022 batch in Zscaler, I plan to go with MBA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees here are pretty nominal just 35000 rs for a semester including the hostel fee of around 3500 rs for a semester mess fees are around 3k for a month. The college does not hike fees as it is a centrally funded technical institute.

Campus Life

Campus life is average but the campus is good 450 acres of campus. We do have annual fest like tech fest, and maduram (cultural fest ) but the budget for these is very low there are 28 clubs in college and they all are really big clubs.

Admission

Took admission from the SET (Sant lomgowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Entrance Test) exam was a smooth process of taking admission through lateral entry. Application fees for the exam were 1000rs only.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
