Some Brief about IIT BHU

I choose this course because I had an interest in the semiconductor field and this was a very better option Also, the faculty of this course is very good, for each and every type of field there is a different faculty member who is researching in that particular field and you get to learn under their guidance. The faculty members are graduates from higher colleges like IIT and did their Ph.D. in their particular field from out-of-country universities.

The students are offered paid internships for various courses. Companies like Cred, Stage, Culture Edge Technology Pvt.Ltd, Qureia Technology Pvt. Ltd., etc. visit our college for offering internships. Actually, I have less knowledge of internships at our college.

From the 3rd year, the companies offer internships to UG students, and in the 4th year jobs are offered. the average placement of my course is about 20 lpa and the highest placements in the college are about 1-3 cr. p.a. there are more than 200 companies that come for placements like Wipro, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more MNCs.

The fee structure is like there is some one-time payment which you have to do for every odd sem and there is one common fee(including hostel). That is to be paid every semester and is roughly 60000 and there is a mess advance fee which 15000 for every sem.

There are about more than 30 different kinds of clubs. There is our cultural fest named KASHIYATRA which happens in the month of January and is a very exciting fest in which very famous people come and perform in our fest also every club of our college conducts its own mini-fest like B.A.S.H of Business club, FMC WEEKEND of film and media council and many more.

We get a triple sharing room for first 2 years and then double sharing romm for rest. there are common rooms having T.V , table tennis,etc. there are water coolers availabe in the whole hostel the mess food is very nice and they have 3-4 types of dishes daily in the meal which are of good quality . the hostel fee is about 40000 including mess fees which is affordabe and is included in the fee which was mentioned previously.

I was admitted through JEE Mains and Advanced. For applying for this exam, you need to fill out the application form from the site jeemain.nta.nic.in The cutoff ranks of this examination are different for different Reservation categories.
