Well if you are a mediocre students and want to get into a good college in West Bengal and get placed , then this is the best college in West Bengal. The placement is better than many other top colleges in the state. The college is excellent. You get to learn and they will provide you ample job opportunities.

I appeared for West Bengal joint entrance examination (WBJEE) secured 16126 rank. I opted for this college because this college has very good placement record for both CSE AND IT branch. My rank was not so good. Since , this college is located in a bit rural area , that is why I was lucky enough to get a seat in this college.

The entire course is designed very well. The faculty members are very good and very helpful. There are 2 internal examination in each semester of 40 marks each. In this college , student have to appear for the internal practical exam also which is very rare in an engineering college. The professors are very helpful and ready to help the students

As far as my knowledge , I haven't heard any such internship provided by this college to any of their students

Placement & job opportunities is the main focus of this college. The entire placement cell is very enthusiastic and very hard working. They give their best effort to attract companies to recruit their students. The placement record are comparable to many top colleges of west Bengal. From 2013 on wards placements have been above 80%. This is the reason why , being located in a remote area, yet this college is very famous in West Bengal., and is gaining popularity day by day.

There are two main annual events organised in this college. First is the, ANNUAL TECHNICAL FEAST. This is a two day event in which students from various colleges come and showcase their talent. It includes various events like robotics, soduko, maths quiz , talent hunt, football, PC games , quiz , cricket, football etc. The second and the biggest event in this college is the ANNUAL CULTURAL FEAST. This is also a two day event . on the first college students perform dancing, singing , drama etc . On the second day , their is performance by some celebrity. Celebrities like sonu nigam, sunidhi chauhan, sukhwinder, KK, benny dayal have performed in this college.

The college doesn't provide scholarship or loans to their student. But at the time of admission te call the bank of India to provide loan to student. So, ID someone wishes to avail it, they can talk to the bank of India executives and get their loan sanctioned.

Campus life us very good. But you won't be allowed bunk lot of classes. The college maintain a strict restrictions on it. So you have to maintain 75% attendance throughout in order to be eligible to appear for the examination. The number of boys are more in this college. There is separate grounds for basketball, cricket, football and badminton. Labs are big and are well equipped and maintained. Competitions for robotics, debates and other stuff are organised during the ANNUAL TECHNICAL FEAST.

Inside the college campus there is separate hostel buildings for girls and boys. In each room there is bed for 2 students. The hostel is good and food is also good . the entire hostel gets free Wi-Fi access. The hostel fee is 12000 per semester excluding food.

every year a program me is held for the alumni to meet and visit the college. The seniors are very helpful and they guide you during your camp using and examinations.

Apart from the semester exam which conducted by MAKAUT, there a two internal theory exam which are compulsory for all students. This college also takes internal lab exam which very rare to see. All the labs are very well equipped and maintained. The lab assistants are very well trained and guide the students very nicely.

I got admitted through my WBJEE rank. After getting the result and sat for WBJEE counselling and I got this college. So , I took admission in Information Technology. When I was allowed this college in this counselling, then I was asked to physically report to the college and submit all the necessary documents for verification. I was also asked to submit an ANTI RAGGING AFFIDAVIT. This whole process took about 2 days. The entire admission took rs. 65000 which the fees of first semester.

All the faculty members are highly qualified. Many of them have even completed their PHD. Though this college is in West Bengal but all the lectures are delivered only in English. None of the classes are suspended. If any teacher is absent , then some other teacher take the class.
