Good but need improvement

The course curriculum is quite vast and varied. It has everything in the course that a student need before joining an Industry. There are 60 faculties in total. Some faculty members are very good, and some are OK, but they try their best to keep the session interactive and fruitful. A semester is 2.5 months long and has one mid-term and one end-term examination. The passing level is fine. However, to score good marks, one needs a good understanding of concepts and applications.

For internship again, more than 50 companies came. Most of them were BIFS sector companies. The roles offered were very vast. Marketing roles were maximum. I got an internship at Kreative Kode as a research analyst for two months. However, the internship opportunities need more improvement and updation next year.

The placement at my college is good. Students from the fourth semester are eligible to sit for placements. Last year more than 50 companies visited and offered 250+ opportunities overall to 210 students. The highest package was 48 LPA, with an average of 15.25 LPA and a median of 15.5 LPA. Almost all students got places barring one-two who was opt-out from the process as they were not interested in placements. My plan is to get a good placement from the college in a good company for a good role after completing the degree.

The fee for my two years MBA program was 15.5 Lakhs. Considering the facilities and location of the college, I feel it is a bit high. However, The college provides a scholarship to candidates via verifications of their family income and economic condition.

My college life is OK. It is in Bodhgaya, where facilities and infrastructure is limited. The city is underdeveloped. However, college life is interactive. Every now and then, there will be some function and event. Our Annual Fest 'Elegante' happens in December or January when students from different colleges come to participate. The library constraints are less, but e-journals are accessible in large numbers. The class has sufficient amenities. The whole year revolves around sports like Cricket, Football, Basketball and other sports. The CSR committee of our college is very active and performs several events and tasks across Gaya City.

The hostel facilities are below par in my opinion. However, we are yet to get the fully developed hostels. The meal quality is average, and there is a good variety of food we receive at the mess. The registration process for the hostel was together with the admission process.

I applied for CAT 2021 and secured 96.92%ile overall. Then I gave interviews for several IIMs, including the CAP round. After the interview, I got a waitlist of 206 for IIM Bodhgaya, which got cleared on 27th June. The admission process was smooth and I faced no difficulty in any of the processes during admission time.

Yes, I had only a Personal interview round for selection. The date and time of the interview came to me one month prior. The interview round was good. I prepared by knowing everything about me and my CV. I had prepared for GS questions and was aware of the news at that time.
