Dislikes

No Air Conditioner in Classroom, suffocating classrooms.
Water purifier isn't maintained, now a days water quality is too poor to drink.
We face some attitude problem from some particular faculty. We want to change them.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in Artificial intelligence, so I choose AI & ML Branch. There are 12 different faculties for 47 students. So the ratio is 12:47. Some faculty like Ayan Chatterjee and Usha Rani Gogoi are extremely experienced, Talented, and Supportive teachers. Other teachers are more educated and experienced than our expectations. But very few faculty are not experienced, so we face some problems related to teaching. The exam schedule is well good and the difficult level of exam is medium.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 490000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester placements starts at my college The highest package from john sons for Mainak Das is 16LPA. Average package 9 LPA. 80% of students get placement. Working with Google and starting a passive business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The minimum cost for academics. Only 22500, if you get 100% scholarship. Sarvodaya Scholarship. If you have more than 90% in 12th Boards and your annual family income is below 2.5 lpa then you receive a 100% scholarship.

Campus Life

Every fest conducted in college is awesome. There is Impulse in March and Sankalp in April. All books are free for reading. There is no Air Conditioner in the classroom. So, you have to face some problems. Extra curricular activities are well good for players. There are many groups in the university.

Hostel Facilities

Two fans, two beds, two tables, two Almira, two chairs, two balti, and two mugs for two people. Meal quality is well good. The registration process is simple and Hostel life is the best life.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

75% eligibility criteria are for admission to this course. Application forms are on TNU Official Portal. Your seat is already reserved and if you want to withdraw your seat you will receive your money. Improve the hard copy receive method. No other problem.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Neat review.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
