To enter for the B comm course you need to pass the HSC exam and apply as per the state government laws. I secured 88% and got automatic enter for the course as was also a student for my 11th and 12th here. Arguably, BMCC is in the top 10 of the state and should be the best choice if you stay in Pune. An average student should dream to get into this college and toppers can get in without second thoughts.

If you are a CA student then you won't find any additional curriculum here. The entire syllabus revolves around CA IPCC. They also give vocational courses of Information Technology and Taxation which is quite good from the practical aspect. As regards any research you need to admit to the Ph.D. division which is a recognized center for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in commerce.

NO, there are no internships in Bcomm course. I have no idea about other courses. The BCA, BBM, and BMM courses do have a 2 months project to be done on the internal control and risk management as one of the topics.

Since most of the students opt for higher education else CA or CS, placements aren’t a part of the student’s goal. Though, there are big MNC’s that recruit students from the BBM and BMM background. Catterfly India- Marketing Intern- Approximately 5000 INR with the bonus. As said earlier the alumnus is well connected and have a dedicated website for the same. There is number of alumni of the college are really leaders in their respective fields to name the few Shri.Sharad Pawar, Shri, Ravi Pandit. The association of alumni is very active and arranges various activities. The alumni of the college love to visit the college and guide the students. It is another asset of BMCC.

The Exam are held as per the University pattern. There are total 4 exams to attend 2 Semesters,1 VIVA, and 1 University exam The scores are then clubbed to 100 marks and the final results are declared. As such there is no frequent examination to call it hectic. The Question paper is also of a decent level not of very high knowledge as they are just university papers and not a professional exam like CA.

After the 10th standard exams, we had to fill in a form provided by the state government wherein we have to list the desired colleges in and around Pune. For the Bcomm course, I need not fill any forms except for the in-house admission forms which are available 2 months prior to starting the course. For the external student, forms are available 2 months before at the college office. No donation based admissions are taken here.
