Remarks
Yes, there is much room for improvement, but it is still the best college that you can get in North India.

Course Curriculum Overview
Well the course curriculum covered very extensively all related aspects of Commerce and was on par with other universities like GNDU or DU. We had Commercial laws, Indirect Tax, Direct Tax law which is very helful if you plan to persue LLB or CA, CS or ICWA.
Internships Opportunities
No, DAV college does not provide for any internship programmes. If one has to pursue, its has be at individual level like in Banks, Insurance companies or any other institutions.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities seem to have improved in 2015-16 as many big companies like E and Y, aircel, KPMG etc had came to college for recruitments. Many students had been selected an now they are actually working in these companies. Packages were ranging vetween 18-25k per month.
College Events
There was Youth Festival every year. Many seminars were also conducted almost every month. There were many societies that were formed in college like Economics Society, Commerce and Management Society. Many prizes were also awarded for participation .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure wasn't expensive at all. I don't know about the hostel fee because I am localite. I had 20000-22000 for each year. Reminder- Its a private college so fees were higher than government colleges like 35-40% or so. But it wasn't like very bothering.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there weren't any scholarships or loan facility offered by college that I know of. You have to look for any Government scholarships or loans by various banks.
Campus Life
Gender ratio was, I would say a little on Males favour. But it wasn't that extreme. There was equal participation of girl students in various extracurricular activites. There were many sports like Archery, Cricket, Football, Volleyball. NSS was also there. Students had came to this college from various parts of the country.
Hostel Facilities
As I have mentioned I wasn't in the hostel. But what I heard from the students was that there was a sharp increase in hostel fees and food quality had been degraded. Yes, the rooms were on sharing. Separate buildings were there for Boys and Girls. And the room size was small.
Alumni/Alumna
I had no alumni network. But yes there was some personal interaction with the seniors depending you know them outside the college or from school times.
Exam Structure
Well we had exams in September, December and in April(Finals) as I had yearly pattern not the Semesters. So it wasn't like we had exams in every month or so, But yes class test were there which were used to give internals of 20 marks for almost every subject.
Admission
After the counselling, I had purchased prospectus in which all details about the college was given as well as the form. Again general credentials were to be filled along with photographs attached. They called us in lots so there wasn't any problem. Also the faculty was very helpful in clearing any ambiguities regarding the application form or any other query.
Faculty
Faculty was very helpful right from the admission process at counselling stage till I completed my Graduation. Miss Rosy and Miss Simran were particularly very good in what they teach as well as for helping students in any other regard too. There was proper checking after every lecture that teachers are in their classes as well as students too.
