Genuine Review on BUIE

Bankura is good college , away from hustle bustle of city life . Senior and local public was help full in their own way. We have enjoyed a lot in their surrounding. I wish all the best to everyone

I took WB JEE entrance examination on 2005 . I scored 1200 Rank in WB JEE. When i went for seat counselling , i saw 3 seats left in electronics dept in Bankura college. I picked 1 one of the seat for myself because this is one of very old college in west Bengal established on 1998. Moreover, Bankura district is always known for producing high ranker in JEE across west Bengal

Course curriculum is in line with West Bengal university of technology. Subjects taught to us was really genuine and with current line of IIT and NITs course curriculum was taught to us. We also relied on Matrix notes for passing semester exam

No internship was provided. There is no provision of general stipend. But later on when MCA batch joined , we were provided 1500 Rs stipend for our daily expenses.

Placement opportunities was very less in 2009 but gradually now we see many top rank companies are folking in to Bankura for its recruitment. But many of the old pass out student from bankura are now placed in major MNC across India. Some cleared GATE and CAT exam and now working aboard.

Exam days were hectic. Mainly First year , we have to give several exam and test on daily basis. Then we found ways to handle such work load. In days 2 exam used to happen , one during morning session and other during evening session. one from 10AM to 1PM and other 2PM to 5PM. In this way life was going with full of exam

Once after counselling is over , Admissions process was smooth, Registrar of BUIE was very friendly and allowed us to take admission and submitted photocopy of document along with them.

Faculty was average when i took admission . Even most of senior faculty was recent college pass out from M tech . But they were really help full in their teaching.
