Course Curriculum Overview
The course is divided into 8 semesters, and in each semester you get to learn something new also there is industrial training in the course curriculum which provides you with experience in real industry. The faculty here are very experienced in their fields and are helpful.
Internships Opportunities
Till now I didn't get an internship but my senior in my fourth year got an internship from companies like Microsoft and Google. Also, they got to work on various large-scale project and got to learn a variety of new tech stacks.
Placement Experience
The college provides a good placement. Students from third year onwards are allowed to participate in internship drive and fourth year are allow for placement. About 70%students get placed every year. Various tech companies visit here for hiring.
Fees and Financial Aid
The entire Btech can be pursued within approx 5 lakh which varies yearly. However, the college provides some scholarships to the EWS and OBC category students. Apart from that college also provides scholarships to the college toppers. The college also runs a placement drive and internship drive to help students financially.
Campus Life
One can enjoy college life to the fullest in this college. The college organizes cultural fest like Taarangana and technical fest like Innerve in which various game, and DJ nights are organized. Also, the college library provides books at an affordable rent. The college has various clubs including sports, dance, technical, etc which keep student motivated throughout the year. However, the infrastructure is a little bit poor but it is improving day by day.
Admission
To gain admission in this college, you need to follow following procedure:- 1) JEE Main: You need to clear this exam which is conducted twice a year by NTA for admission in engineering colleges. 2) JAC Counselling: Participate in this counselling and during choice filling, fill the IGDTUW college name with desired branch. 3) If rank satisfy cutoff you will be allocated the college. Cutoff for this college is nearly 30,000 for CSE branch and goes till 1lakh for MAE branch.
