Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in machines and designing is my hobby. Faculties are good but still, some are not good enough for teaching. Qualification of faculties are good former IITians or got their degree from top remarkable colleges. Exams are held after every month and they increase the level as you go from minor 1 to minor 2 to the end of the semester.

Class Size: 190Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from the 6th sem onwards for ppe. Companies like JSW, L&T, etc. visit our campus. The highest is around 14lpa and the average is 4lpa. Around 81% of students get placed in mechanical. I would pursue higher studies after the completion of my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are nominal and affordable. Hostel fees are also nominal but the mess manager is a thug and they try to loot every single student for incoming more money. Else, the fee structure is cheap. Even farmers and workers' wards can afford to study at this institute.

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted in March every year and Madhuram is conducted in October every year. Apart from that nothing much happens only occasionally. The library is average. Classrooms need to be renovated. Sports facilities are good like badminton swimming volleyball football cricket gym etc.

Admission

Given JEE Mains and got an AIR 2.2Lakhs. I got admission through the SC Category quota. The admission process was smooth and good. nta.nic website helps you to register yourself in jee mains. Jee mains and LEET for lateral entry after the diploma are two ways to get into the college.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Sliet Journals : Must for bigginers

I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
