Remarks

This college is one of the best college in New Delhi. The mess food is cheap. The girls are gorgeous. The staff is supportive.

Entrance Preview

I scored 92.25% in class 12 th. This college has got a great reputation. It has the most number of seats in B Com Hon ours after SRCC.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course offered wide range of assignments ranging from Marketing Projects to Economic Surveys. The teachers are very cooperative. They provide you with all needed resources for the project research guidance. The projects undertaken also include a few presentations, which we need to take to the rest of class. These provide a good source of interpersonal and intellectual skills

Internships Opportunities

No. The college doesn't provide internship. There are a few companies they college had tie-up with , but they just pick students for the job purpose. In actual sense, that is internship. But the company picks the most intelligent students for their employment.

Placement Experience

4

Many big companies like EARNST N YOUNG KPMG DELOITTE Price Water house Coopers Come to the college to pick the students directly from college. The college has tie-up with all the big companies. Package ranges from 10 thousands to 50 thousands rupees. Many more job opportunities in other small companies are easily available to almost every student.

College Events

3.5

There are many many events that the college holds in a year . Being one of the best colleges in Delhi University, it has to keep upto it's reputation. Some of the events are: - 1. Cultural fest 2. Sports week 3. College fest 4. English department fest. 5. Blood donation camp And many more....

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite low. Being a government college. The Delhi University had kept the fees to Rupees Five thousand Eight hundred and fifty only. Comparing it with other private colleges in Delhi, it is quite low. Other exam fees used to be around five hundred. Maximum expenses were on living and food.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship is provided by the college. The people getting admission in the college are paying just five six thousand rupees . That is very nominal amount. They already are on scholarship. There is no need of scholarship.

Campus Life

3

Campus life is one of the best in Delhi University. Girls are surely more than boys . Many many workshop s . Photography workshop provided he students with extreme exposure to the wide range of lovely photography. Sports competition were huge. People from all the area participate init.

Alumni/Alumna

College alumni meet is organised every year . The alumni comes to college. They share their piece of experiences. They share their life and inspire students.

Exam Structure

Exams were twice in the year. Once for the mid session. And one for the final one. The marks scored in mid session were added to the finals. The students had to prepare very well. The paper were set in the college for the mid terms. The checking was quite hard. The other days were good. But the exam time was very hectic.

Admission

For the admission to the college, I didn't wait much. As I was successful in getting the college in the first cutoff , I just followed a the below mentioned steps to get my name registred to the college. 1. Matched my cut off with those published in newspaper. 2. Report to college on the date of admission. 3. Submitted Documents 4. Paid full admission fees which was quite less at that time i.e. around ₹5850 per year. 5. Admission done General admission process is this , but this keeps changing with the changing University rules yearly.

Faculty

5

The faculty is the main backbone of the good results that the college provides in all fields, may it be sports , acting, and education of course. You will find many teachers in the college who are authors of the books that are being read throughout the University. They have extreme knowledge of the subjects and clear all doubts of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
