Likes

Specialzed placement committee is there to solve the problems of placements for students.
The infrastructure is extremely good and environment too.
the campus is covered by lush green trees making it a happening place.

Dislikes

The food in the mess can be made better if the contractor is changed .
Swiggy, Zomato should be allowed to deliver foods inside the campus.
Parking facilities should be given for students inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is divided into four semesters (2 years) in the first year we have all the subjects compulsory and in the second year we can choose what we want to study as our specialization. The student-faculty ratio is 1:60. The faculties are extremely qualified and have a good amount of experience in this particular field. Which helps the students to get industry ready.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities available our decent as many companies are coming in for hiring students in internships and the stipend ranges between 15,000 to 30,000. We have to do a summer internship project in the 2 months of our SIP.

Placement Experience

Just after the 2nd semester, the students become available for campus placements. The companies that visit our ICICI, are Deloitte, PWC, HDFC Bank, Haldiram, Verity, and Protiviti. The average package is 7,00,000 and the highest is 18,00,000. Approximately 95% of the students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 14,50,000 which includes everything i.e. hostel fee, mess fee, development fee, and tuition fee. If you are opting for a premium hostel then we will have to pay 10,000 extra per semester which will bring up our total course fee to 14,90,000.

Campus Life

The campus life is good and engaging, We have different clubs for different domains and also activity clubs which keep the campus life fun and engaging. An adequate amount of books are available in the library for reference as well. The classes have CCTV, Smart Classrooms, and AC.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility includes things like AC, CCTV, Ro Water, and Solar systems installed for warm water. The Food is average as it is not good, being even after raising so many complaints the contractor of the mess is not changed. Registration is simple for the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I appeared for the KIITE management examination which is held by KSOM every year as an entrance exam and based on that score I was selected for 2 years residential MBA program at KSOM. The application forms were easily available online on the official website of KSOM.

As it is under biju pattanak university of technology, rourkela affiliated soo the course curriculum is from bput syllabus and this is the syllabus where is cover total the real word application. And course caruculm is very real to university.because of pratical and other course is based on real worlds this is good to choose.i will suggest the theory class and pratical class should be more improved.as this is a good and reputation college in Bhubaneswar soo the smarts board and 3d or 2d animation should be used in engineering department course.good time for study and research soo i will say this is moderate difficulty level

Life at BGU

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.

Remarks:

All are good,but only fooding quality is below the level.And also it does not have any playground available to play outdoors games.only it have not a playground but this college have good class room,WiFi campus, Computer centre,canteen, language lab and hostel are there.

I appeared for MAT (90 percentile) and CAT (80 percentile). I preferred this college as I heard a lot about this college from the alumni and checked the ratings too. The course structure is different than other colleges so I found it interesting. The college faculty is well experienced. The course is different from other colleges.

Kalinga School of Management - where great manager come from

Eligibility is 50% aggregate marks in 10th and 12th boards.candidates those who have appeared in the 12th examination and expecting results before 31st August,2024 can also apply for the program also those who have appeared in UGAT can also apply with valid score. Further candidate will be selected based on their UGAT Score or Career Marks and Performance in Personal Interview. apart from the above exam score ,KSOM takes admission based on KIITEE Management entrance exam which is of 2.5hrs exam with 150 multiple choice questions.
