Absolutely satisfied with the placements and faculties of the college

The course curriculum is highly effective and oriented towards the industry. It provides all the requisite learnings to pursue a career in the field of agribusiness. The faculty-student ratio is good. Faculty are from top agribusiness institutes in India with excellent industry experience. The term exams are conducted timely and the paper is medium hard.

The internship opportunities that we got are good, in companies like Syngenta, Green Pod labs, ITC, Haldirams, Iffco Kisan, Ju Agrisciences, Zydex, Ecosafe, Centor India etc. With a stipend from 10000-25000/- per month. Projects are assigned like promotion, Marketing research, Sales, demonstrations etc.

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. The placements are good with an average package of 6LPA. Among 60-70 companies visited this year like Adani Wilmar, DCM Shriram, Technico AgriSciences, Syngenta, Ju Agrisciences, McCain, Haldirams etc. College gives 100 % placement assistance.

The fee hike is according to the market demand and environmental change which is not drastic at all. There are two types of scholarship merit and economical, economic scholarship is up to 3 lakhs and merit is up to 1 lakh. I got an internship at JU Agriscienses Pvt. Ltd. with a stipend of 15000-20000/- per month.

Life at the campus is good with the annual agri-conclave and different celebrations and blood donation camps organised by the cultural club of the college. Course textbooks are given to every student from the library, there are different journals and articles related to business and agribusiness available in the library. Sports club organises Cricket, chess, table tennis and many other sports year around.

Hostels rooms are available in 2 or 3 seaters with A/C and non A/C options, with 24*7 wi-fi facilities , free laundry, 4 times hyigenic food in the mess , as basket ball court, geyser in winters , daily room service. The registration process is very easy through college portal only.

The eligibility of the course is Bachelor of Science in Agri and allied sectors and also normal graduation courses. The application form is available on the college website only, the application fee is around 400-500 rupees. The application date starts from January up to September approximately. There is no such reservation but economically backward sections are given scholarships. The admission process can be more effective if the group discussion and personal interview rounds are conducted physically in spite of virtually.

I faced group discussions, Interviews and written tests for admission. The topics of GD were related to current affairs and Agri News. The interview was unstructured and agriculture oriented. The written test had 4 sections Aptitude, Reasoning, English and Agribased. Students can also apply through CAT or any other entrance exam for MBA.
