Faculty

4.5

There are five main areas that you can assess faculty. Learning Outcomes. Is there a comprehensive list of program learning outcomes? By that we mean the knowledge, skills, and values students are expected to know at the completion of the program. Assessable Outcomes. Are the learning outcomes measurable? The statements should specify what students can do to demonstrate their learning. Assessment Alignment. Is the curriculum (course sequence) aligned to support opportunities for students to develop knowledge for each program outcome. Assessment Planning. Faculty need to have a specific plan in place for assessing each outcome. Student Experience. Students who are enrolled in a program should be fully aware of the expectations of the program. Are program outcomes aligned on the syllabus so that students are aware of not only what course objectives they are required to meet, but also how the program outcomes are supported.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
