Journey so far at "SCB" (since 4&1/2 yrs)

Goods-academics is good, Curriculum is nice, Learning atmosphere is excellent, Hostel, canteen, cafeteria, etc are really awesome. Bads- Management is quite lazy, non-coperative, not overall right. Digitalisation is to be improved a bit.

QUALIFYING ENTRANCE -CBSE NEET - 2013, MY SCORE - 513/720,& I opt for it because it's not only d best Medical college & hospital of odisha but also a grand premiere Medical institution of our country.

Medicine, as most of we knows,d bread n butter of everyday n everybody's life. The course is of course very tough Of tight curriculum n schedule. Syllabus is much, books are much, assignments r also much, Academics curriculum is also tough. Responsibility n duty is most. Still as of d role of demigod or, second to god,whatever ppl call it,we r trying our best to get rid of this profession as much n soon as possible. At last " if u don't have the sense of humour, you won't survive this line of work anymore.

Yeah, After completion of MBBS i.e. Medical degree, you can go for internship of 1 year here. Stipend worth around 15,000-16,000 along with accommodation n canteen facilities available here too. And You can learn / practice 24*7 hrs wherever. When ever u want here. You will b learnt n experienced a Lott. If gone through proper internship. Lots of patients doctors nurses etc.

As Doctors,while being passed out, almost everyone get posted with handsome salaries. Most of those posted in govt hospitals n few at prvts too. Salaries range from 30000 - 100000 per month depending upon several factors. Job opportunities are vast with d need of public demand as the service of health care provider we always ready to serve them.

There are in general many events happening here. world aids day. Kidney day, malRia day,leprosy day, TB day, Cardiac workshop, renal workshop, mexicine conf, etc. Annually fest cultural is organised with a great applause. That is d center of enjoyment for all guys. Chill out for everyone. Apart aRathyatra, Holi, Diwalu, Rajo, etc also celebrated a lot.

Academics (per annum)=32000, Hostel n fooding = 4000/month. Not so expensive but manageable for almost everybody. That is feasible. As govt medical college. It is far less than that if Prvt ones. Soo. No need to worry.. Fees n experiences are manageable.

Many scholarships or, loans available here provided on merit basis, gender basis, caste basis, etc. E.g. prerana, medhabriti, iocl, dinabandhu trust, etc. I myself eligible for "Medhabriti " scholarship worth 10000 / annum For 5 years. On annual income basis of your parents. If annual income < 6 lakhs, then j ll b eligible for this many others r also here but m not eligible for those.

Campus life is nice, Everything is here male female ratio 2:1 well diversified college n campus. Athletics was great here. Lab are fyn. Competitions held at regular intervals. Quiza, gk, debates are happening too politics is very minimal. Moreover study oriented campus. Everything is almost perfect.

Hostel rooms are great. Wide, large, accessories present single rooms are there. Shared rooms also here... Neat n clean on daily basis by sweepers n workers. Foods are tasty, delicious, hygienic,variation is there, nutritious, excellent. I would like to rate 9/10 for fooding.

Yaa obviously they are helpful. We learn from them, practice from them guided, motivated, etc. They take us more conceptual n scientific level than we belong. So, very much helpful.

Every academic yr has 2 semesters so 5 yrs have 10 sems in total. Apart final 4 MBBS EXAM for every academics yr at end of d yr labs r happening at regular intervals. Frequent during exams. U have to b careful during sessions otherwise lacked in knowledge or, marks Pass mark is 50% fails also der supplements also do happen. After xams tym for chill out for long drives or, swimming or, athletics or, Gymnastics etc

Online application form at Cbse website, filled up the form, then 2 months later downloaded the admit card, n appeared for the exam on 5 th May (sunday).Results published 1months later, counselling attended den got admitted as per my rank in this college.

Faculties are very much qualified n intelligent too. They are all well versed with the curriculum, academics, classes, etc.after MBBS, they have been going for MD/MS then further higher degree holders. They are all well experienced n interactive with us too... They are master in teaching subjects of their task n clearing doubts too. They are also good oriented to Modern day / era ppt or, protector system of teaching. So, at last, i would like to rate them 8 out of 10.
