Course Curriculum Overview
Chosen B.Tech CSE because its future-proof and the collage provide placements in this field. Faculty is available for the number of students available however rarely in a subject teachers are kept on a contract basis that keeps changing. The staff is well qualified to deliver quality knowledge. 2 mid-term happens level is easy to medium.
Placement Experience
In the 6th-semester students start getting placements. many companies visit mass recruiters and others like Z scaler Goldmans Chas and others. The average package is 4 lpa and the highest ever is 18 Lpa. 60% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is the same for all B.Tech courses(44k per sem) and no hike in fee as it's govt university or govt aided. I have no scholarship but the university provides it to residents of Punjab as a PMS scholarship.
Campus Life
Fests happen quite often once or twice in 2 months. Books and generals are not the latest but are not too old. Classrooms are good with air-conditioning and good seating facilities. Many sports activities happen on campus along with NCC. RSS is also there.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are good according to the fees and well maintained. The meal is served well for the first one and half months then quality starts decreasing but is manageable. The hostel is affordable and registration is online 4.
Admission
The admission process is of two types-: 1) Online counseling on JEE mains score basis. 2) Direct admission according to statewide seats. 3) Reserved seats for students of Punjab. You can check more on the official website.
