I choose this course because the mechanical department of this particular college is very renowned and famous because of the SAE India competitions and other clubs that represent all over INDIA. Students are divided into groups and classes are taken in these groups one group remains in pairs of two groups which has a strength of 40. The faculty is highly qualified and the teaching culture is not that up to the mark but classes take place and one would find itself more comfortable in self-study. Exams are taken in minor and major schemes there are two minor and two quizzes with one major (End semester exam) at the end. The difficulty of this exam would be rated as easy and medium they are made by your subject teacher.

You get eligible for placements from the final year and companies start coming from that time only. This year companies like Mahindra, JSW, Torrent GAS, SML etc visited our college for mechanical placements the highest package for the mechanical people was offered around 10 lacs by Godrej Limited. And the average package has become 4.5 lakhs The plan is to get Post graduate with Mtech

Fees structure of the college for the undergraduate programme is 35000 Rupees per semester and hostel fees of 4500 if opted, The scholarship is available for students with economic backgrounds and for those who scored under 5 rank and have an income certificate can avail of the benefits. There is a fee charged for mess with 3 Meals for approx 90 Rupees so that goes around 3000 for a month.

Techfest takes place every along with other cultural fests there is a food fest also which was introduced recently. Clubs at the college are the real deal there is one for photography and film making which is Sivesa another tech club such as Endeavour which represents the college all over INDIA, Junkyard, Green Rangers etc. The central library is open for all to read and study books are also available that are round the clock available. Classrooms are pretty much equipped with the all requirements such as a smartboard, projector etc

For SIngle seater room, you are given one table, one chair, one bed and an almirah per student. Meal quality at the mess is pretty average as you will find all tastes the same after some time. Registration for the hostel is done while taking the admission you can choose the hotel option. 4pretty affordable for 1st to 3 rd year student you are given 3 seater rooms and those who get good marks and seniors of 4 years are given single seater rooms in hostel 3.

The admission process of the university was through the CET test based on your respective branch for the LEET lateral entry test. In this programme, you do 3yrs of BTech in your particular branch Application fees were 1800 Rupees for this lateral entry test conducted at AIR level for the SLIET can be given all over India you can fill out this form through SLIET's official website.
