Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen Computer science and engineering branch in this college because placement percentage. All faculty are highly qualified and done their PhD courses from the reputed institute. Apart from the CA exam weekly tests are also taken by respective subject hods.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 440000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many Companies like TCS, IBM, Wipro, Infosys come to our college and give internship opportunities to second or third year students. Students get lot of experienced and learn a lot of things about industry after doing internship.

Placement Experience

Generally Students after or in third year become eligible for internship and placements. Many Companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Bajaj ,Infosys etc. come to our college give offer according to the skills of the Students. About 80 out 100 got placed particularly from Computer Science and Engineering Department.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for Completing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering Department or from any other department is approx 4,40,000. Many Scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship(SVMCM) and Kanyashree are available for Student of West Bengal. Government also provide financial help to the needy students.

Campus Life

AEC fiesta is held as annual fest and technical fest in the month of April or June. Approx 65000 books and journal are available in the Central Library of this. Many sports events like Cricket ,football , volleyball etc. are held at regular interval. The Hardware club , coding club and science clubs etc. are also available in this college.

Admission

Admission in this college is taken through West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam(WBJEE) and also through Joint Entrance Exam(JEE). You can also take direct admission by management quota. You have to appear in the Wbjee council once you clear the exam.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

For jee I prepare very hard during my 11th and 12th but unfortunately I got not as much percentile so that help me out to take me addmission in IIT like colleges but my coching sir addvice me to do counsilling and take addmission in college that i got .
