Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.tech in computer science and engineering with artificial engineering and machine learning. It is a four-year course that covers a wide range of topics related to computer science, engineering, artificial engineering and machine learning. The curriculum includes programming. data structures and algorithms, database management systems, machine learning, computer networks and more. All the faculties are highly experienced professionals who have a deep understanding of the field and are dedicated to providing us with the knowledge and skills we need to succeed in our careers
Fees and Financial Aid
CMR University offers various scholarships to its students based on merit, need and academic excellence. The fee structure varies based on the course opted. I paid 2,25,000 PA for my btech program. My CET rank was 5234; per the cmru entrance test scholarship, I got a 50% of my government tuition fee. Some other scholarships available include CMRU Merit Scholarship, the CMRU Sports Scholarship and more
Campus Life
Campus life at CMRU is a unique blend of academic and social opportunities. I stayed at the college's students' quarters during my course completion. The hostel facilities are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, making it comfortable and safe for us to live. we also had a range of co-curricular activities to pursue our interests and develop new skills. from sports, music and art to cultural events and community service, there's something for everyone at CMRU
Admission
For admission to the B.Tech program, there are three options available - Common Entrance Test (CET). Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), and the CMRU Admission Test (CMRUAT). I got admission through CET and got an opportunity to study at CMR University, and the admission process was very smooth. I visited the admission office, submitted my documents for verification, completed the payment and confirmed the seat. CET and Comedk scores are considered for admission through the government and centralized counselling quotas. At the same time, CMRUAT is open to both Karnataka and non-Karnataka students and is based on their performance in the online test.
