Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because of my brother's suggestion. The placement graph is so good in the computer science and engineering department. All faculties and hods are highly qualified from reputed institutes. Apart from the ca exam weekly tests are also held.

Placement Experience

Students in their third year get opportunities to intern in many companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are the companies that come to college and give opportunities to intern with them. about 80 out of 100 students got placed in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

For completing the course in B.Tech in computer science and engineering department, it will cost approx 440000. Many scholarships like Kanyashree and Vivekananda swami scholarships are available in this college.

Campus Life

AEC Fiesta is held as a technical fest in the month of April or May. Many sports events like cricket, volleyball, etc. are also gelded regularly. Many clubs like the hardware club, the science club, the coding club, etc. are also available in this college.

Admission

For getting admission to Asansol Engineering College you have to clear the West Bengal joint entrance exam (WBJEE) or the Joint entrance exam (JEE). Once you clear the exam you have to participate in wbjee counselling. You can also take direct admission by management quota.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
