Course Curriculum Overview

Back In 2013, There Were A Total Of 3 Semester Exams, Once In Every Year And Ut Was Been Taken On College Itself. Classes Were Of 50 Mins Each, And The Faculty Was Good But Classes Were Not Regular And The Teacher Followed A Proper Pattern For Studies

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess Is Very Nominal And Evry Parent Can Afford It, Back In 2013, The Admission Fees Were 10,000/- And Yearly Fees Were 3000/- Only. This Is Very Helpful For Parents Who Are Not Very Financially Capable.

Campus Life

There Is A Inter-College Tournament Every Year And Also Freshers Program There Every Year And also College Fest. The Fest Is Very Huge And Students Participate In It. The Library Is Very Beautiful And Informative For The Students.

Admission

Eligibility 60% Was The Cut-Off Back In 2013, The Application Form Was Given By The College And Also It Is Been Given On The College Site. There Are No Reservation Criteria. There Should Be A Portal For The Students Where They Can Check All The Details On Their Own And Also Can Check Their Applications To Make The Things Hassle Free.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
