Remarks
I feel the college could work a little better on the infrastructure, Although there have been massive upgrades to the lab and classroom since our time.

MH CET for engineering SCORE: 97. Bharati Vidyapeeth COE was one of my first three options, It is one of the most prestigious colleges in Mumbai/ Navi Mumbai for Engineering under Mumbai University. I consulted with everyone I knew and decided on BVCOE as the option.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course was set by Mumbai University, and to be honest at the time was way outdated. Though in recent times it has been revised number of time to keep up to date. For this very reason we had parallel courses and seminars conducted in the college which certified and trained us in the latest technology.
Internships Opportunities
BVCOE has a good training and placement cell, where the TPO and students work in sync to get reputed opportunity of placements for students, Inspite of the fact that I passed out during the time when the IT sector was hit with a terrible recession, our college had a very high placement rate.
Placement Experience
I am not aware of what is the situation of the placement currently in the college but our college has an overall good placement opportunity.
College Events
There are numerous association and societies one can enroll oneself apart from the usual curriculum to participate in various events and seminars. IEEE, Computer Society of India are few of them. Besides there are cultural and sports festivals organised by the college with the support of college and other benefactors.. BVCOE has a very famous Cultural Festival called ABHIYAAN, celebrated in the memory of Late Shri Abhijit Dada Kadam.
Fee Structure And Facilities
During my term fees was very affordable, less than Rs. 40,000.00 per annum, Hovever It seems to have been hiked in the past few years and is now in the range of Rs. 1,00,000.00 per annum. However scholarship programs are available for those with lesser means.
Fees and Financial Aid
All banks provide educational loans for this college subject to ones merits and financial background. As mentioned earlier Bharati Vidyapeeth foundation has good scholarship programs which can be useful to the impoverished and needy but brilliant students.
Campus Life
The campus life I experienced was the best time of my life, with good friends, supportive teaching faculty, excellent library. Student dorm parties inside the college premises was not permitted, however there are a lot of activities outside the college which could provide the required distractions from the stressful life in an engineering course. We had a students hailing from the extreme north in Jammu to the extreme south, we also had few students from overseas as well.
Hostel Facilities
I did not utilise the Hostel facility, but had been to the hostel multiple times and would rate it at par with the other hostels in engineering colleges. The mess and canteen were not very impressive but had good hygiene standards. The food in canteen was edible to the best of my knowledge at the most.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a very strong alumni, and people from all over the world try to stay connected even after graduation.
Exam Structure
In Mumbai University bi semester per year pattern is followed. The entire course is 4 years that comes to 8 semesters. Each semester has 5-6 subjects, the first year and final year exam papers are evaluated by the external examiners in the University, the second and third year papers and evaluated internally with external moderation. Third and fourth year students have take VIVA examination, which are scored by external examiners. Apart from all this there are practical examinations, internal examinations, and regular assignments which contribute to the final score. The final year students have to submit a Project published in group which has is again scored.
Admission
I filled up the form at the college and for CET forms I choose a list of 20 odd colleges, I was among-st the first batch for MHCET for engineering in Maharashtra. We had as 50-50 ratio for scoring, (50 % from PCM score of HSC exams and 50% from MHCET Score). My aggregate score from both was 230/300. I qualified for BVCOE in second CAP rounds.
Faculty
As my heading suggests, engineering is a cumulative experience, which not just teaches you the technology and nuisances of innovation, it develops you overall and teaches you to tackle the various battles in life, a large reason for this is the input and guidance of your teaching faculty. a blend of the best and the worst is what I experienced, some of them I would never respect in life and some I have kept in touch even after all these years.
