Entrance Preview

I gave Jee main and secured 100/360 and got qualified for jee advanced but did not got my Dream course.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

We call this our Competent User course because that's exactly what you will be at the end of the day. There is a level beyond this (The Expert Level) that you can achieve by taking our Expert course - but for many general office requirements Competent User level is sufficient.

Placement Experience

4.5

EY, Opera Sol, Thought works, TCS, Nagarro, Posist, Amazon (pool placement), ZS Associates and a few more I don't remember. Indian army and Indian Navy also came for University Scheme but that's not a big deal. No core companies for ECE, EEE and ICE. At present we are around 25% to 30% placed (thanks to TCS) and this percentage will at maximum raise to 50% to 60%. Conclusion - Placements are degrading at BVCOE. It isn't as good as it was a few years back.

College Events

4.5

One of the reasons BVCOE has produced some very awesome leaders and speakers is because of its society culture, which no other college has to such an extent. We have 15 societies (technical, non-technical and entrepreneurial). To name some of the internationally known ones are: ACM, IEEE, Google Developers’ Group, Microsoft Technical Group, CSI, ISTE, Enactus and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Needless to say, nothing compared to DCE/NSIT etc. But if talking beyond those A-rated colleges, it's a good shot. Placements are pretty good, and unless you are really bad or really unlucky, you do get placed easily. Lots of students go to amazing companies from here. MBA wannabees also clear IIMs, ISB etc.. though their percentage is low.

Campus Life

5

Extra-curricular- We have football, basketball and cricket teams, and there is also an annual Sports Meet sort of a thing. And Oh Yeah.. There are timings when you are allowed to use the sports facilities, usually during the evenings. Playing during the morning and afternoon hours is a No No.

Hostel Facilities

5

Canteen :- The best in the University with 3 different spaces , including in house Amul Cafe and CCD, Sports Infrastructure /Playground : - Might even compare to the best of the lot in Delhi. Crowd - Engineering students ( High rankers in IP) are decently rewarded with the crowd but more than made up by the alternative streams like BBA/MBA/BCA etc. You are in for a treat if you set your foot firm at BVCOE.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni Network and after graduation Rep- No official alumni network(well, LinkedIn...yes) but some really helpful seniors and alumni who are at really good places, Google, Microsoft, Penn, Columbia, Berkeley, even Administrative Services. Although to be fair, you have to approach them individually or preferably via mutual connections or professors.

Exam Structure

No extra marks are given in internals which is a good thing as it forces you to study for externals :D Some of the faculty is very supporting and possess good knowledge of the subject they teach. Most interesting thing about the BVCOE is "The Librarian"who has very rude behavior and having lack of communication which is totally intractable. You'll never understand what they're trying to prove by unnecessary rules and regulations. Overall if you have multi option to save your best 4 years of college life than give BVCOE last priority. Beware!

Admission

I got 4473 rank which is quite good in IPU CET and got IT in BVCOEND. Then i went to spot admissions! Before all this i also secured my seat in BVP pune in the same course It. Administration was Good and helpful.Really i feel great to be here and promise to make it worth.

Faculty

5

One benefit of being a student at Harvard is the opportunity to develop relationships with the professors, preceptors, teaching fellows, administrators, coaches, and staff who help make Harvard a world-class institution. These individuals can be great mentors and resources, helping you find direction and support in all aspects of life. Therefore, freshmen are encouraged to spend time with faculty outside of the classroom setting.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
