Course Curriculum Overview
As for your choice, your course depends .my course in mechanical engineering faculty of mechanical engineering is cooperative and they always help us .here there are 2 internal examination and one external .you will get 5 marks extra if you have attendance up to 95 percent. if you study well then you definitely get a good rank in the semester examination.
Placement Experience
In the final year you are eligible to sit in placement .many reputed companies visited here like Mahindra, TCS, Chima Boliers, JSW, Accenture, and many more. Average package -4.5 lakh, Highest package-18 lakhs. Approx 70 percent of students are placed an average package and on or two get the highest package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure -35000 per sem, If you opt for a hostel-1500 per sem for a 3 seater room .and you will get a single seater room in the final year fees for a single seater room are -3500. Mess charge-2500 to 2700 per month. If you get a good rank or rank under 10 you have the opportunity to get a scholarship. campus placement is moderate not too high not too low.
Campus Life
Campus Life is a very interesting college have a very good and green campus. Technical fest - Techfest in which you will show your knowledge about a technical thing like robocar, drone making, model making and many more if you win you are awarded the prize. Annual fest- Madhuram is the annual fest of SLIET one of the awesome fests. many stars come and sing we enjoy ourselves a lot.
Admission
The admission process for lateral entry students in the month of February and March forms out after filling the form after 1 or 2 months of admit card and examination are held. Cut-off is generally category wise but if you score 80 or 90 marks you are definitely selected. Eligibility for this course is if you have a diploma.
