The college is simply awesome , in infrastructure,faculties,labs,extra-curricular activities etc, seniors are very co-operative they have a friendly relationships with the juniors they always guide them. college hostel is also good and food in hostel is also good , college canteen also provides snacks & food at very reasonable rates. The college was established in year 1979 and after the college is always been in top 10 in Karnataka state colleges, sdmcet is having experienced faculties, well equipped labs, a very good infrastructure and also many opportunities for students.

I gave KCET & secured a rank around 35,000 and got information science engineering in this college also other engineering entrances such as comedk is also accepted for admission in the college and students also get admitted through management seats. I am passionate about programming & information technology & so i selected this college..

SDMCET is an autonomous college under vtu and it follows the course curriculum provided by vtu,belagavi . The daily classes comprises of student-teacher interaction also the faculties focus on practical learning so that students can gain edge over others in this era of competition, many research papers of the college is also published.

college provides ample opportunities to students for internships many companies such as ibm,tcs etc. visits the campus for providing internships to the students ,students were very happy with their internship experience most of them go to Bangalore to do their internships especially for cse, it, ece students.

Placement scenario is good in the college approx 80% students of computer science ,information technology & Ece get placed every year with an average package of 3.25 lakhs-4.25 lakhs also some students get offer of more than 10 lakhs this year highest package was 13.87 lakhs,few core companies also visit the campus for recruting students..

sdmcet witnesses many cultural,technical fests every year , Insignia is one of them every year a celebrity comes in insignia ,this year in 2017 sdmcet witnessed darshan raval in the event , fiesta is also there on a regular basis programs are organised..

i paid fee of 60,000 for my first year of engineering also the fee structure in sdmcet varies according to exam , for kcet it varies betwwen 20,000-80,000 per year also for comedk it's approx 1 lakhs 70 thousands and for management seats it's approx 2 lakhs 50 thousands ...

Students are provided scholarship /loans as per state & central government guidelines, students can also apply for many loans/scholarships from other institutes..

Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara College of engineering & technology is situated in Dharwad, Karnataka is an awesome college.

Hostel is good , a room is usually shared by 2-3 students and the food provided at hostel is hygienic & good

The college follows the examination procedure as suggested by vtu, belagavi every minths exams are there for students so that they could be active throughout the semester

The college is having experienced faculties many faculties are even experienced of more than 20 years there are many faculties who did their studies in many renowned institutes , the teachers are very interactive they believe in interactive teaching also the standard of teaching is very high we are always encouraged to enjoy the process of learning..
