Infrastructure of the college - Infrastructure is quite good as it got a new building in 2017
Societies - Societies offer good opportunities to grow.

Placements - It could have been more better but it is quite good still.
Politics - All DU politics is centered at Ramjas, however it has changed overtime.

Course Curriculum Overview

If you go to North Campus then you will definitely get world-class faculty with teachers who have written their own books for their subjects. Faculty:Student = 1:70 Most of the professors are Phd holders of their subjects who will give their best for you. Exams are semester wise wherein the exams are conducted after 4 months on average.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good at our campus being average at 7.4 LPA and highest at 21.5 LPA. 60-70% of the batch used to be placed every year with the number 4 top placements in North Campus. Ramjas College has a good reputation with a legacy of over 106 years which is still to be carried and this can be seen in the placements also

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for Ramjas College are 15000 per year on average for every course and if you apply for a University scholarship program or a National Scholarship program then you will get around 50-100% of the tuition fee depending on marks, income etc Placements are quite good in Ramjas College as it lies on North Campus with the Highest package of 21.5 LPA.

Campus Life

It is overall good including the fest and other campus opportunities. The crowd is actually good at our Campus being in North Campus. Classes and infrastructure are best all across the North campus but AC is not there. The library is quite good with nice subject matters and is quite spacious.

Admission

The admission process was quite simple as it was completely online and all the needful right from the application form etc could be done online. Application fees were 200. For BCom Hons, you must have studied Mathematics in your intermediate but this has now changed with the introduction of CUET. With OBC reservation you can expect a per cent/percentile relaxation below the General cutoff.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Ramjas college experience

For admission into Delhi University, CUET exam is conducted based on your 12th subjects. Scoring atleast 750 above out of 800 is necessary to get into top colleges like Hindu, LSR, SRCC etc. Then based on the marks , you are allotted the college , there are 3 rounds of allotment.
