Kartik's Review On PES University - [PESU], Bangalore

Excellent placement which is the only goal of a student in college you can feel this only if you join this college not by listening because college name is not much famous but i personally felt this like placement is not a point of bother if you joined once

At my time comedk was the exam one has to write to get admission in this college but now college pes is university so it conduct its own exam. I landed up on this college was just a luck pesu name was not soo famous in north India but my friend said its a good college more ever its in bangalore so i joined There is no interview for getting in this college, admission is completely on merit

I did civil engineer from this college as civil engineering is very new in this college like 3-4 years before only it started but the main thing or best thing about this college is its brand value like you want placement at the end of college life and with zero failure rate it will give u a good package (my good lies between 7-19 lacs) As civil is very new they don't hv much experienced faculties but they support alot even they fund if you have capability to start an research or end up then they will support you This college is not much fun or extra curriculum oriented (not much doesn't mean zero) i was member of dance team collage give proper funding and motivate alot but within few limits

Yes you can do internship anywhere, collage give lot of offers i did internship in metro which even iitian won't able to get again location factor and college brand my friend did internship in IISC which even iitians dream to do (only location benifit) because college in bangalore so it has excess to everything

Placement you will 100% get placed If you are in civil/mech - its hard to get place in core but that is hard in even iits because very less core companies on india If you are in CS/IS/IT then you just have to relax and enjoy life because you will get package similar to iits not because college is soo awesome its because location factor and college brand average package os 8-10 lacs All my cs/IS friends get package of more than 9 lacs

All type of events dance team, football team, cricket team, cultural fest everything

At my time fees was 1.5 lacs per year tution fee and 70k hostal fees per year but after converting into university they raised it by nearly double 3 lacs tution fees and 90k hostel

There is but not much as i am above 8 pointer i got 500 per sem if you are 9 pointer you will get 1k.

Its an amazing journey with lots of up and down but at the end of college life you have lots of successful stories to share

Plus point of college best hostel too too strict hostel but too clean highly maintained but strict ( i had been kicked out of hostel because of celebrating birthday inside hostel) but we like it because its too clean Not exactly single room but they have room with sepration kind of thing, it gives feel of separate room but again i will suggest to take room with friends because college life is to learn not to isolate yourself from friends /society, its time to live with friends and learn good things from them as i learned alot can't even think soo many small small things and one of the big thing is this English what i am writing now.

There is a alumina group over Google plus and it helped alot in finding job in your native area and much more

Exams were too frequent, we were fed up of writing exam, this is one of the reason why college is not much oriented towards extra curriculum because student don't get time to manage both simultaneously, but one who learn to manage will achieve really good and we saw few of our friends did

If i talk about civil then not much but few are there from IISC and rest are phd holders but in other departments teachers are insanely talanted, experienced and highly qualified. You can sit and chat hours with teachers they will help you not only in studies but also from all other outside activities also Teaching standard is very very high in mechanical, computer science, electronics not much in civil but not that bad also but in mechanical its very high
