Remarks

In teaching wise the college good, we get good notes and good teaching, but we don't have more activities in our college. Overall experience was not so good as we don't have more activity.

Entrance Preview

Karnataka cet(KCET),JEE MAINS,COMEDK was the entrance exam i have wrote.I got seat in Oxford college of engineering through KCET depending on my rank. My rank was 49,000 in KCET, There was no interview process was followed in our college. My course is BE Mechatronics, i was interested desiging part of robotics ,so this made me to choose the course which i am doing currently

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Course was not so good as our syllabus was outdated. We have not much focused on practical learning as we don't have good labs and equipment's are not in a good condition. Yeah we have research center in our college in electronics and communication department in which they are working on photonic crystal.

Internships Opportunities

They are no internship in our college. But we have some workshops in our college.I don't have any experience about internship as i have not done any internship till now. Some internships are free of cost and for some internships we have to pay.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement scenario was not so good, but we have placement training in our college .Only less percentage of students got placed in companies. This time nobody placed in a company from our department. Most of IT companies visited our campus .I do not about average package.

College Events

3.5

We have more technical events but we have dont have cultural events in our collegee and we dont have good fests in our college. This year we have IEEE workshop on arduino.we had quiz competetion,painting/skteching competition and project expo

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees was affordable as i joined our college through KCET. My KCET fees was 45000/- rupees and my college fees was 12,000/- rupees for the first year, which include internet fees, library fees..etc.For exam we have to pay fees separately during exams, for second year i paid around 52,000/- rupees, for third year i paid around 54,000/-

Fees and Financial Aid

No college do not provide any scholarship. But college informs about different scholarship which are available.I have not applied for any scholarship.College do not provide any loan but help students to apply for education loan through banks.I do not much details about education loan

Campus Life

2

They are very less extracurricular activity in our college. We get opportunities to explore our inner talent. We have explore our inner talent only in technical projects and sports only. Faculities were good ,they support a lot .they help all the students in exploring their inner talents, only we have to show interest

Hostel Facilities

2

I am not residing in hostel,i am residing with my family in Bangalore, but i know about hostel rooms as my friends are residing .My friends told they don't have water supply, sometimes they don't have current in the hostel. But they have study table to study .Rooms are on sharing, they are no single sharing rooms. They are many PGs near the college.Food was ok ok not so good

Alumni/Alumna

I do not much about alumni network.

Exam Structure

Exams and lab were make me feel tired at the end of the day. Exams was for 80 marks and duration was 3 hours and some questions were very lengthy which will make us tired at the end of the day.In labs some of the equipment were not in a good condition.so it was not a chill culture.

Faculty

3

Faculties are qualified their M.Tech and some of the faculties are qualified their phd. All teachers are experienced at least 2 years.some teachers are good in teaching particular course, some teachers are not so good in teaching.only some of teachers are interactive.standard of teaching was ok

Students from the second and third year are eligible for campus placements. Several companies offer placements including a package average of 3-4LPA as starting salary. Companies consist of marketing and advertising agencies along with startups and other established businesses. I did not appear for campus placements, as I an pursuing jobs on my own while carrying out research for my post-graduation plans.
