Course Curriculum Overview
Well, this was the best course I could avail as per my jee rank. So I had no other option than to choose electrical engineering. Here the faculty-to-student is pretty good and is as per the NIRF guidelines. I must say that the faculty here are very qualified and educated. However, there can be improvements in the teaching methods and it can be more proficient. As of the 2022-23 curriculum for 1st year the exams were held every 1.5 months. First, it was mid-sem exams and then the end-sem exams. Also, there are class tests which are held in like 2 per semester i.e. one before mid-semester and one after.
Internships Opportunities
Well, students here are doing internships with great companies like Microsoft, Google, Delloite, and many startups. Here due to the presence of an internship cell, many of the students get placed. Well, the students must have good command over DSA and other coding subjects to get internships in good companies.
Placement Experience
In 6 or 7 semester student get placed. Companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Yamaha, Accenture, Mobikwik, etc. were the companies. Overall 172 companies visited the campus for placements and around 92% of students were placed. My plan is also to get into one of the reputed companies listed above.
Fees and Financial Aid
As compared to the financial year 2021-22 there has been a fee hike for the students of my batch. But overall the fee is around 2.3 to 2.5 lakhs per year which in total costs like 12 Lakhs for 4 years. There are many scholarships available for students who avail of minority, SC, ST, and defense status. But I don't have got any of these.
Campus Life
The annual fest is MOKSHA in March or April. Tech Fest is RESONANZ in October or November. The majority of the books which are related to courses are available in the library. The library is pretty huge, you will find here nearly every book u need during our 4-year tenure. Classrooms are filled with automated Air-conditioned systems and fans, smart boards, blackboards, and a projector are also available. Society has around 37 societies/clubs which are related to different domains and interests. Cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and many other sports have well-equipped facilities.
Admission
To get admission here, one should qualify to jee mains exam which is conducted by NTA. Application forms, fees, and the rest of the important details are present on the Jac Delhi website. All of the admission process is done here only. The admission process is pretty much cool and less hectic.
