- Many clubs. One thing I like about my college is it has many clubs.
- Badminton court and cricket ground are good.
- Rooms are big. College campus is also big.

- Distance between college and hostel is alot
- Food near college is costly and to reach to hostel it takes a lot of time
- The weather conditions are very harsh. Too cold in winters and too sunny and hot in summers. College becomes river in monsoons
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose ECE with a specialization in AI and Cybernetics. I choose this branch as I am very interested in smart electronics along with AI-integrated machines. This branch is perfect for my interests. For all branches, There 4 types of subjects: University core, University elective(you can choose any from the list of subjects), program core, and program elective. You will be introduced to the program core in 2nd year. For around 50-60 students one teacher is assigned to a subject. You usually will have 5-6 subjects each sem and might have 2-3 months interim sem for covering subjects. Councilors are not there here. Most of them are Ph. D.s, few are Ph.D. scholars. Teaching methods are the same as inter. You will have a mid-term and term end or two mid-terms and term-end. In term end, all 5 modules are tested( Usually 2 Q from each). There's relative grading. Papers are of moderate level and sometimes they are hard. But in that case class average drops and it becomes easy to score an A grade.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for the 1st category are around 2 + 1 lakh and it's totally worth it. But for 4 or 5th category VIT(except the Vellore branch) is not at all worth it. A laptop is a must for ppts and projects and a basic i3 latest gen or i5 from 11gen will do the job. I don't know anything about scholarships.
Campus Life
Vit Bhopal annually hosts a fest called AdVITya where many clubs take part and this year concert by shirley setia was held. Our college has many clubs and many competitions were held. Badminton and basketball courts are there, and grounds for cricket, and football too are there. Free wifi is available and most Jio networks work on campus and hostel. The library has many books including academics and fiction.
Admission
One can get into this college by giving and getting less than 1 lakh rank in viteee exam. You can find the application form viteee exam website before deadline (dates change every year). Next step is download admit card and write the exam at your specified exam center. Then wait for results. After the results, you will get a chance to choose your desired VIT branch and course. All those who attempted the exam are divided in 4 phases based on their rank and the first batch choose their desired courses and branch. Based on their selection and remaining seats the number of courses and branches available for the next batch reduces. Also, each course has 5 categories. Your fees are dependent on the category. 1st has lowest fees(1.9Lakh) and 5th highest. If you got 4th or 5th categories which means your fees are high, then don't take this college or even the Chennai branch as it's not worth it. Then you can choose another branch and then shift to your desired branch by paying 2 years' fees as assurance.
