Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because of its high package chances and its popularity nowadays. If you talk about the faculties of ITER then it's quite good. They have around 1 faculty for every 65 students and almost all the teachers are from IITs, NITs, or other well-known colleges. Faculties have been provided a lesson plan by the coordinator for each semester which they have to follow. If you ask about the term exams then it happens every 10th and 18th week of a semester. In the 10th week mid-semester exam happens whereas in the 18th week, the end semester happens. If you are an average student or attempt every question in the exam then you can easily pass here. But if you want to score good then you need to work a little hard.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the college during 3rd year. You can get internships in companies like Amazon, Samsung, Flipkart, etc. Mostly some of the internships are free but they are quite helpful to gain experience. You can do projects in different fields like Web development, Machine learning, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
Placement Experience
Placements of ITER college are good with an average package of Rs.6.5 lakh. Students are available for campus placements after the 6th semester. Many companies come for placements like Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, Flipkart, etc where the highest package provided was around Rs.42 lakhs by Microsoft. 95% of students get placements who are eligible for placements especially students from CSE and CSIT branches. My plan after this degree is simple i.e., to do the job or start preparing for MBA.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our 2021 admission batch, tuition fees were Rs.2,35,000 and hostel with mess fees was Rs.86,000.However, the fees keep on hiking every year for the new admission batches. Yes, scholarships are provided in our college on the basis of your 10th and 12th percentages. If you score above 70% in both 10th and 12th then you get a scholarship of Rs.15,000 every year. For 80%+ it's Rs.25,000 and for 90% + it's Rs.35,000.
Campus Life
Campus life here is quite good, especially for the extroverts. Everyone is friendly and seniors are quite helpful. If you talk about the annual fest then it's sad to say that after covid no annual fest has been organized but hope this will be back soon. If you are good at sports like cricket, football, table tennis, etc then this college is meant for you. The college will provide you with a lot of opportunities to play against other universities and different places. Our university has its own team. Other clubs are also there like the codex, drama club, dance club, etc where you can enhance and show your skills to the public.
Admission
TH eligibility of the CSE course was you should be 12th pass with PCM as your main subject. After that, you can get here direct admission through your JEE Main score if it's good enough. Otherwise, there is also an exam organized by the University whose name is SAAT. It is being held in 4 phases where you have to give any one exam and after that, you need to give an exam then if you score good then you have to select your top 3 branches priority wise then after some weeks a mail will be sent to you that which stream you have been allotted. After that, you just need to go to college to take admission.
