Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because it offers significant potential and numerous opportunities for future growth and development. Faculty members were highly knowledgeable and consistently provided assistance to students. Additionally, they efficiently managed financial programs and resources to support the student's needs.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the 1st semester, the fees amounted to 17,648 each. For the 2nd and 3rd semesters, the fees amounted to 18,648 each. Caste students were eligible for a reduced fee of 8,648. The campus job opportunities were exceptional, with highly reputable companies such as Bank of America, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Motilal Oswal, and Asian Paints actively recruiting exceptionally knowledgeable students from our campus.

Campus Life

4.5

The college organizes a multitude of festivals throughout the year, offering a diverse range of events and competitions for students. In monsoon season, the host the mud fest, an exciting celebrations featuring outdoor sports such as cricket, football and tug of war. After the semester, the college arranges its a gran annual fest, Kurushetra, which encompasses a wide array of activities include indoor and outdoor games, as well as captivating dance performances, singing competitions and impressive beatbox showcase. These festivals provide student with opportunities to engage in sportsmanship, showcase thei talents and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the college community. In college there are two prominent groups: NSS (National service scheme) a social club focused on community services and volunteer activities. and Enactus, a marketing orgnization that combines business skills with social impact initiatives.

Admission

I wanted to let you know that the admission process for universities is easy, but it can become lengthy due to server issues on their website. Sometimes, the website experiences technical problems causing delays in submitting applications and documents. So, it's important to be prepared for potential frustrations caused by these server issues. However, once you overcome those challenges, the overall process is quite manageable. The cut-off list for my college was 78% in 2019 and it has now increased to above 84%.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
