Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BCA because my interest was in programming since childhood in college, there are familiar faculty that can help students and there are experienced faculties. It depends on students to clear the exam but somehow it's easy to clear the exam.

Internships Opportunities

There was a company recently namely the rush app. It was for an internship opportunity where students have to share it with a minimum of 20 people to complete the task and The app name was rush unfortunately I was not able to do it.

Placement Experience

Since I have recently joined the college, so I don't know much about placement. yes, but I have communicated with seniors. According to them, the placement starts in 3rd year. After completing the BCA one can do MBA or MCA in this college too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of this college is a little high as expected, there will be many opportunities in the future, and students can apply for government scholarships. The scholarship provided by the college can be filled up by the local students.

Campus Life

There will be the annual fest and tech fest where students can participate and can win prizes and also participation certificate will also be provided. The student can easily get the required books in Library and there are sports opportunities too.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fee is 90000 per year which is a little high. The meal quality in mess is little good and the meal is provided 4 times in a day. In one room there will be the 3 students and the infrastructure inside the hostel room is good.

Admission

My admission was done through online. There was a normal interview during admission while the interview there will be an interaction between the student and the teacher and the teacher will ask some normal questions related to class 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.
